Help me make New Weapons!

Damage has been made proportional to stat requirements, and recharge times have been reduced (though still not technically balanced), making HMWeapons once again (if they ever were) viable.

The final thing to be done (besides fix brawling)? Fill out the empty spots on the list!

We have a lot of stat combinations that don't have corresponding weapons. And of course, for each combination, there's different damage-ranges and recharge rates to consider.

In other words, unless there is some cap that we need to take into consideration, there is a lot to be added!

So, in light of that, what I need is suggestions for names!

I could probably fill the list out by myself, using the list of inactive weapons if nothing else, but that doesn't seem fair, so here are the 'rules':

Suggest as many weapon names as you want!

BUT

1) Only give me your desired stats for your favorite suggestion. Since I'm constrained by what is currently missing, I can't just throw things in willy nilly, but if your weapon fills a field that is currently missing, why not? Still, only one! Please!

2) Try to keep the weapons semi-serious. Other players may feel that their gaming experience has been diminished if they get attacked by Dual Mammary Machine Guns.

3) Weapons that are from other canons are up in the air. A "Batarang" for example will probably be out of the question, but the Chainsaw Sword, which is both a touch more obscure and sounds like something a TF would use, have made it in in the past. Try to avoid using weapons that are copyrighted or trademarked outside of Transformers. We use a lot of copyrighted alternate modes (like the TIE Fighter) but the icons are also intentionally vague. Same principle applies here.

4) Try to name the weapon something that will flow grammatically in a mission text. This is a recommendation rather than a rule though. :P

5) Just because you suggest it, doesn't mean it will get in, even if it's great. There may be a limit to how many weapons can be in the inventory that I don't know about. Even if there's no technical limit, we may simply not want to scroll through 300 weapons on the weapon page. In that light, I won't start adding stuff for, like, a week or so. That way, there will be plenty of time to determine how many should be added. In the mean time, I'll just build a list in Word and organize things. Then add the stuff that's needed most when we know how many can be added.

Question here.

What abaout weapons we already have, but have shocking stats (aka, are absolutely worthless as lesser weapons are much better etc.), could we try to improve those to avoid so many dud weapons floating around?

Energized Whip-variable power whip. set from stun to kill

acid tipped darts-uhm..acid tipped darts

Atomizer-reduces what it's beam hits to trace particles

ipod of Death-produces a compressed beam of metal shattering sound waves

Minicon cannon-what is a back mounted cannon to one of these guys fits
just right in your hand

How does a Triple-Barrel Ionic Megapulse Cannon sound?

Name as many as you want, but only give stats for one weapon. I want everyone who responds to have have a fair chance at getting one weapon that they really want.

- Quantum Destabilizer Cannon - Dissociates the bonds between subatomic particles, weakening armor and causing massive circuit damage - FRP10/SKL9 - Very heavy to devastating damage, short recharge
- Shoulder-mounted Positron Accelerator
- Condensed Antimatter Grenade
- Teleportation Rifle - Projects a focused transporter beam just wide enough to teleport away pieces of an opponent (or, for instance, their weapons) to a pre-set location.
- Telekinetic Strike - Intended as a low FRP, high SKL weapon
- Pyrokinetic Attack - Intended to be low FRP, high SKL but increased stat requirements and increased power compared to Telekinetic Strike.
- High-Heat Sabot Machine Gun (from TFTM07)
- Razor Disc (from Frenzy in TFTM07)

I noticed a considerable(read: none) lack of mass driver based weapons. And to be honest, they are just *%($($% awesome. So here are some ideas right off the top of my head.

Heavy Rail Cannon: A really big rail gun for the bots who are
literally transforming battleships and need a 'main gun'.
Definately a SLOW charging weapon with a high firepower/skill
rating of 10+/7+.

Gauss Rifle: A gun that is almost a cannon but not quite. For the
guys who just want to tote around their weapon instead of
wearing it.

Arm-Mounted Rail Turret: Just as the name suggests, a small rail
turret that pops up out of the arm.

Arm-Mounted Double-Barreled Ion Blaster: This is that cool double-
barreld weapon that Optimus Primal favored before he bought it
at the end of season one of the Beast Wars.

Energon Claws - no recharge, Light to incredible.
EC-10 pulse rifle - no recharge, moderate to very heavy.
Radioactive launcher - short recharge, moderate to incredible.
Carbonised Ballistic Shotgun - short recharge, heavy to incredible.

I've gleaned a few prospective weapon names from the tech specs of my BW and BM figures. I checked over the current weapon list to see if any of these were already in there, but I may have missed them, so my apologies ahead of time if we do already have any of these available.

GIVE A STAT REQUIREMENT ONLY

as the stat requirments dictate damages, you can only suggest one, suggesting both is means we have to ignore part of your suggestion or we unbalance the game.

you could also EDIT your first post to include any later additions instead of posting each time you think of a new weapon.
cos I doubt if we make this thread a bazillion pages long cealus has time to read all the way to the end.

Actually, please just give the stat requirement.

I really don't want to have to figure out how to translate the 'light, moderate,heavy, etc.' into numbers.

Unless someone has a conversion chart I can use.
