With GP running back to the Cons with his tail between his legs I'm assuming Mkall has the tools to switch people from one faction to another so...

If there are any current players that are intrested in becoming either a Predacon or a Maximal post here with your choice.

Mkall, If you can't actually make good on changing people feel free to lock this, but it'd be appreciated if you could let us know what you are planning on doing for the Beast factions.

If I knew what I was doing I'd let you know. GP's a guinea pig testing the faction switching on the new forum system.

Wouldn't it have been easier to create a second account for yourself (MP had one when he needed to test things on the 'Con side) rather than take someone from a faction that already desperately needs members?

It would have certainly saved a lot of animosity that's brewing. :?

Was he a Pred? That would certainly explain the response I'm getting in my recruitment thread.

He was a Maximal. Well, technically he was a Maximal, cause he was barely ever active during his time as one.

Really? well, Burn's still right, both beast factions need more players.
I wonder what's wrong with MasterCroc than. :-?

Indeed.

Wouldn't it have been better to find guinea pig to switch to the Beast factions ? Not only would you see if you could properly switch people but it would have helped the smaller factions.
Sure would have increased my "fun level" more than re-introducing Kremzeeks.

I suspect it was the way you worded your post.
Sounded like you were looking for Preds that were willing to be exploited to further the Decepticons already overwhelming dominance of the game.
Burn wrote: Have GP. It's the only uniform he hasn't tried on yet. :P

First, I doubt he'd want to.
Second, why the hell would we want him?
Seems like all he did for the Maxi's was muscle his way into their leadership, did nothing, then jumped ship at his earliest convience.
Jumped ship to the Cons no less...
Of course if he is just a guinea pig, then I suppose that implies he'll go back at some point Image Sounds like an info grab to me.
Switch to the Cons, snoop around, then bring back anything he can to the Maxi's.... Strangly enough I might respect him more if that was the case, at least he'd finally be showing loyalty to a faction. :P

Come on Burn, be a guinea pig (literally :P )
I can see the story now... The Freaks are infected with that Ani-whats-it virus, expelled from the Cons, and forced to take up with the Preds.
After a while your medic could come up with a cure and head back to the Cons.
You could even do kitbshed beast versions of your characters. I think Gore would look good as a Rabbit  :P

I've considered going Maximal. Beast Wars is my second-favorite series. I even have three Beast Wars style characters: Swiftwing (formerly a jet), Dragonoth (formerly an Autobot), and Cheerox (formerly an unstable protoform). I'd have to replace some of my chars, though.

you couldn't just give them a maximal upgrade?

I've considered going Pred for a while, purely to balance the sides out. But I, like many, would only defect with two provisions - fixed missions, and the option to join all four sides upon starting. I'm aware one of those isn't possible at the minute for Mkall, but surely Ryan could have a bash at it.

Before V2 became perma-shelved, I'll admit I was concidering offering to go Pred, to help out rebalance a bit before the reset.

But right now I cannot offer to go Pred, becuase I know I'll wanna go back to Con at some point (I am a Con, they're my faction of choice, and any other faction would simply be a 'temporery posting'), and I know that in all liklyhood it'll make me unpopular (rightfuly so) to a lot of Preds for it (especilly since I'd want back into the biggest faction there is).
If the reset was still an option, and if we'd all get to rechoose our faction, and start from the beginning again at that point, I'd happily go Pred for the short term. I know the reset wasnt a popular idea (I was actully looking foward to the fresh challenge), but thats they way it is for me.

I cant even say "I'll join the preds until they have 'x' number of 'y' level charecters", beacuase without the ability to take on new blood, that will be at least years, and probably never.

Just thought I should put this here.

So was that a PM or what?
In any case, it's nice to know Mkall has found a way to do it.

EDIT: NM, I found where it came from.

I'm not sure about Xenon, he's a Sentinel-sized battlestation. I am currently having trouble seeing Ironhide and Cliffjumper as beasts (although I play Cliffjumper as a halfling barbarian in D&D RPGA). Cyber Centaur might take a horse, or other large mammal mode, if he could still be partnered with Artemis. *shrug* We'll see, if it happens. Right now, I enjoy having a mixed team. I've always been an Autobot fan, and it's hard to go completely without cars.

You know, Cybertronian maximals (ones that didn't go to earth) had veichle modes.

I also can't remember how to spell veichle. :?
