Beast Changers, anyone?

Yes, I'm well aware that adding a new faction is pretty much out of the question, but I want to toy with a few ideas.

Recently, I've been surfing Teletran 1 looking for Pred/Con crazies to stick in my team (since my whole team is a pack of psychos :grin: I'm mostly trying to find a good one to replace Forcepush, though), and I come across the concept of Beast Changers: Transformers without a robot mode, but able to shift between two beast modes. A notable example of a Beast Changer is Noble/Savage from Beast Machines; he's able to transform from wolf to dragon and back again.

Given the presence of Beast Changers (notably a Beast Era faction known as the Mutants), I wanted to see what could be pulled out of it. I know, I know, the concept of Triple Changers is also somewhat out of the question, but I personally think the concept of a Beast Changer in HMW would be interesting.

Any comments?

I think in HMW beast changers would simply fall under organic triple changers, as there aren't any bot modes in it atm.


Might be nice though. Wolf to eagle would give strafe and ram (and avoid?) in one neat package.

I think it would be interesting... instead of wielding weapons, they could get a powered-up punch/kick (renamed into somethings)

Now that sounds really interesting! I took a liking to Noble/Savage, and I think it's a brilliant idea. I'm in for that! ;P

I had some idea for mutants somewhere, but it's really not feasible without doing some serious work on the back end.

We'll have to see though

Now that is a noble (heh heh!) idea. Is there a way to make them available only to maximal and Predacon factions?
