It's an idea I've had ever since I got most of the TF spotlight comics. Maybe we can do something fanfic wise here to give more insight into our characters. Explore them so we can flesh them out into real people and give HMW a sense of continuity and depth. We could collaberate if our characters have ties, just ike those comics fleshed out guys like Hot Rod and Sixshot amongst others.

Eg/ Traxs Gemini has ties to -Soundwave's- team, my Dynabreaker would have ties to Thunderscream's team and ZZ's Night Beast as he murdered her mother. We could work together making stories to really give life to our guys in individual features. We could even go as far as to also include NPC's (Tammuz's non active Children of Blitzwing, Burn's Mini Maximus Prime for a few examples there).

What do you guys think of that idea?

You know, that actually sounds like an awesome idea. I'm not sure I'd be able to produce anything for this type of project (as much as I'd WANT to...), but I'd definitely support those that would. :grin:

Bad things happen every time he makes an appearance ... very bad things ... I have no idea what the hell the little blighter is plotting next but i'm sure he's up to something.

All the more reason for the hellraising clone to return, it'd be a good story..or a funny one.

Interestingly enough, you just touched upon my current Transformers-related writing project; a kind of 'Spotlight' on Stormmaster explaining how worker became gladiator, gladiator became Decepticon revolutionary, and revolutionary became leader of a splinter army of Decepticons...

For a small preview,

"I have no need, or use, for workers," Megastorm had replied when he learned of my desire to join him, "Go back to Iacon."

"How I was built is not who I am," I retorted, grabbing him by the shoulder as he turned to leave.

"Release me!" He snapped, swinging outward with his arm to catch me across the chest, "How dare you? I am Megastorm, victor of a thousand fights, greatest of the Cybertronian gladiators-"

The right hook that met with his faceplate took him by surprise, cutting off his speech.

"Greatest of the Cybertronian vocalizers, I think, afraid to take the challenge of a worker, afraid of your fellow gladiators learning you were defeated by someone not even part of that fraternity, hm?"

"I'll rip out your optics!" Megastorm's own optics flashed with fury.

With a click, my visor dropped down over mine, "Feel free to try, Tarnie, feel free to try."

I hope that whets some appetites to see how the rest of it comes out....

i sort of thought of this with Dynamax taking an introspective look at what he has become while visiting the graves of his dead wife Illumina and brother Ultimax and coming to grips with the betrayal of his twin Supremax, who has no grave due to his part in their deaths.

Funny you should bring this up. I've been working on re-vamping my Neo mesh in Truespace and making him into a 'Classics' hybrid and was goi to do some form of comic with him in it.

I like the idea.

That's a pretty cool idea which ties in with something I'm planning.

Once I've finished all the Bio's and team profile etc, I'm going to "Kill Off" a character and I was going to ask a slightly higher level Con player (like Psychout - as his lvl 2's keep putting my lvl 1's into check) to submit their team into the story to do the deed.

Probably a couple of weeks from finishing tidying up the bio's first mind....

I'd be willing to do 6 page minicomics or ashcans, if you wanted. Keep in mind that you, the character's creator would be required to write the 6 page comic script that I would illustrate. This would be a collaboration, so you'd also need to be able to communicate with me prior, during and after completion of the ashcan. And by illustrate, I mean pencil and ink it. If you'd like it colored, we'll have to find another contributor.

And just to make it interesting, I'll even throw in a cover shot as well--so that's a total of 7 pages (technically speaking of course). If you need an example of my work, please visit my online portfolio/gallery.

Any other comic pencilers out there that wish to help contribute to this would be appreciated because I KNOW that there will be a ton of requests.

I'd thought about that a while ago for either Northclaw or Stratosphera, but the interest just wasn't there. Still an interesting idea.

In all seriousness Dyna this is a very good idea and Quietstorm's offer to do mini comic collaberations is mind blowing. I might have to get around to writing again.... :-?

I could sic my insane casette/viral weapon Syntax on him, but he's currently yelling at the light fixture in Datamatrix's room about how it's conspiring with Optimus Prime and that guy from Three's Company (Jack's friend) to baste him with gravy and feed him to Blot next Secratary's Day. :shock:

Did you ever stop to think that the light fixture might actually be a spy camera Mini-Max installed thinking it was going to become a femcons locker room but ended up being used by your rejects? ;;)
