How long will us autobots have to wait for a new shippment of Minicons? I'v just started, and realised there was no minicons, and just realised that there must be awile till the next shippment. How long will us Atobots have to be Minicon-less??

Minicons were removed from the game for causing too many issues. They won't be back any time soon.

I wouldn't mind having them back, or a similar thing, with no abilities just for background for your teams. But it could just be me who thinks that.

I could live with that, and with the little thingies not dying on the first CR. Just for a bit more customizing...

They were pretty poopy, and far too expensive.

They were bad for game balance, and were frustrating to those of us Autobot players who were smart enough to realize we shouldn't be wasting them (because most of the rest of the Autobot players weren't that smart).
Good riddance.

it wasn't just that, the bots where afflicted with massive amounts of energon and generous dispositions. it was a great showcase of what happens when the laws of supply and demand don't exist.

No, it wouldn't just be you.
Same for robot modes.

I think if the program was rewritten to include them but not in the same way as before would be a great addition to the game.
Something like a minicon will attack or repair at random but only at 10% per attack/repair. I'm not sure how good or bad 10% repair is.

depends on the level of who you're repairing and wether it's affected by their end, your intelligence or if it's and additional entity in battle or is replacing your attacks.
if it's a flat 10% repair no matter what it's quite good if you're at low levels and beats having any amount of points in repair and int, assuming it's not repalicing your ram/strafe/weapon attacks
but once you get the point where you can hand out 50% repairs at level 10 it's not really worth it.
the thing i think, is that it has to be optional, so not "cripplingly wasteful" (like the old sea creature alt class) or "have to have to succeed" (like the old style battle blades), so maybe you have to sacrafice a little to get them, but it's not a net loss if you do.

Here here! Or something along the lines of agreeing.

Screw minicons.
Use the function for x-masters and make the bonus *0.1 to X stat per level, depending on the master equipped.
Make Rank the pre-req for using them and give bonuses like this: (examples)
Head: Int
Target: Firepower
Power: Courage
It'll add the extra part to the game everyone wants without giving huge bonuses by picking stats that only have secondary uses, 'cos str and speed ones are pointless.
(This is assuming its not being done via altered Kemzeek mechanics.)

That post was about as helpful as the minicons are.
Now, if it were Powermasters, Targetmasters or Headmasters...

May I suggest removing the "Buy Minicons" page then if it's not in use?

Minicons are the love child of power/target/headmasters and micromasters. Ya can't say those three are useful and minicons aren't when by and large, minicons do the samethings. General minicons, when linked, are supposed to provide a power boost, specific ones are supposed to unlock abilities (both could be considered power master types), there are minicons who transform into weapons in a sort of triple changer or combiner mode (target master), and then there's Overload's minicon that is a robot, a gun, a microtruck, and his head (head master).
They're essentially the evolution of the gimmick.

there's two differences first of all binary bondsmen are GEEWUN!!!!!! and secondly a binary bondsmen are specific to a particular character, minocons aren't.
but yeah means fanny adams to the game.
i'd like target masters/weapon minicons to be chance to re-roll misses

I can't remember where but I read a post of someone talking about Universe Nightstick (Cyclonus' Targetmaster) and called him "Cyclonus' Minicon". Oh how I raged. They're not interchangeable and the Minicons are not cool characters or toys. I'll demonstrate why *masters are far superior to their modem noise spewing knock offs with one picture.

They did? Then why were there no truely evil ones? Why were they a completly seperate faction to the other 2 factions? Why can nearly none of them talk? Why do they have earth alt modes if they are conciderably smaller than that which they mimic?
Both the American and Japanese version of *masters made far more sence within the universe they inhabited.
Apart from action masters. They were just ****.

Didn't watch the cartoon, just read the comic series, and in the comics the Minicons talked, a very large number of them were assholes or even complicit with the Decepticons, and they scanned earth alts for improved mobility, even though they couldn't mass shift to effectively hide.

Ahha, never read the armada comics. Clearly differ a fair bit to the show, as there wasn o real massshifting of minicons, and the beeped all the ficking time (and were all whiter than white and scared easier than a shy 5 year old bedwetter).

Try to get a hold of the comics sometime then. At one point, the Destruction Minicon Team kidnaps one of the kids, and straps him to an orbital mine above their base to keep the Autobots away.
Also, after being enslaved by the Decepticons, all three powerlinx to Cyclonus (the only one of the toys designed to use their gimmicks btw) simultaneously and drive him insane.
Also, Armada Unicron's Heralds were cool (G1-esque Galvatron, Bludgeon, Dirge, and Thunderwing) as was the fight between the G1-esque Galvatron and Armada Megatron.
