Ok, whenever I change name or reset to a different build, the bot SUCKS for a day. I'm talking double digit exp here, if not shutouts. It's not the build, because a day later they perform fine.
Come clean, OS, did you program some sort of hidden 'curse' that activates whenever any sort of reset or edit is made? It's driving me nuts!

You too? Lol, I started this topic because I was bitching to my friend about it on YM (he's a Maxie) and he said it happens to him TOO, and to just gut it out.
Conspiracy Theory!

I don't have that problem. I've had some of my best scores after a reset...

I honestly don't think that OS would have written the code so that when you reset your bot it does worse then before. Not when he views resetting as a important part of the game.
That's what he said when he removed bot modes

My experiences have been similar. Usually perform average to quite well after resetting one.

I used to, but recently I made a couple of resets and didn't forget, and behold, suckiness.
Hmmm, varied experiences. The code wants to get personal.

				Tell me this.
When you have recently reset a charecter, do you find yourself sticking em in the missions you think they'll score the best in?
I know I do. And a lot of the times, those missions are the missions that are all or nothing missions.
Hence why you either get great results or crap results.
After a short while, you begin to play the charecter normally, and then you begin to see the real worth (or lack thereof) of the new build.

Nah, ironically, its usually a good sign in my case.
Reset, rearm and re-install their armour, drop them in a typical mission and for some reason, they always come out with a **** score for the first mission and then score fine after that, and this was before the Mod curse kicked in.

Speak of the devil Tammuz, I forgot to re-equip my gal after I changed build.
On the bright side "the curse" didn't rear its ugly head this time!

What is a 'typical mission'? The simple fact you put any extra effort itno chose the tf's mission means you probably wont be putting em in the missions you normally do.

'Typical' is a normal 'bot v 'con mission, but before the big R it was always one where they were middle of the level range.
Id never need to change anything, they would just pick up in performance from that first battle onwards.

I've had the same experiences. Attribute it to the bot getting used to their new body?

That's the most logical explanation.
"I feel stronger... Smarter.. more aggressive...."
