I think that has a little to do with things, as some people tend to not know when to quit (but as I keep saying, if people are getting offended it wouldn't hurt for them to try talking to the person doing the offending either)
But it's been a common thing for Autobots to not be very active posters.
What i'm about to say is an honest opinion formed from my time here over the last 5 years and is NOT meant to incite a flame war.
The "evil" players ('Cons/Preds) are more laid back and don't take the game too seriously and enjoy to have a bit of a joke and actually see the merits in not taking the game too seriously.
The "good" players ('Bots/Maxis) tend to be more serious and from observation, a little too sensitive. Which I feel is the main reason we have so few "good" players posting as their definition of "fun" differs greatly from that of the "evil" players.
Take Deadpool./Den-O/Absolute Merc/Not-Travis-Bailey's latest sig for example.

1. Never enter a mission where you don't outnumber the enemy by at least 5-1

3. Do not attempt to humourously respond to Bot signatures, instead bitch and copy the format of the Bot's signature. AND misspell "humourously".
I don't know if that's suppose to be funny or if he's trying to piss people off. I mean come on, outnumbering occurs to ALL FACTIONS. It just happens at different times of the day. I truly cannot understand why people are so stupid to think it only happens to them.
There is no such thing as a lame reason to challenge someone. A challenge is a challenge as they're all meant in good fun.
And the third point ... well if that's an Autobot's humour I think we can see the wide variance in humours across the board here.
MOVING ON!
Another trend i've noticed is the "good" players tend to be more selfish with very few of them being interested in improving the game for the greater community. The majority seem intent on doing their own thing.
I'd love to see more Autobots posting on the forums and joining in the sillyness, after all, it's a game that's meant to be enjoyed, and as Microsoft like to say "it's good to play together".
Now if you'll excuse me, it's my turn in the dark room with Tammuz.
