Weapons are dumb...

...if STR is your primary stat. Seriously. After the nth Sword hit for 6% with my 6 STR, I decided to perform a little experiment. Not to equip a weapon for the next five missions to see how it goes.

Long story short, I never failed to melee hit for less than 20%, including a 25% punch against a bot with 3 END. I don't think weapons are supposed to REDUCE your minimum damage, are they?

Well if it was the 0/0 requirment sword, Given the range factor and the opponets ability to absorb damage a 6% is still with in the scope for your bot.

But Tammuz did post a nice lil graph awhile back that shows brawling at a point begins to over take weapons. The reason being the formula used to equate damage has a exponetial in it. Thus the more you invest past that point the faster weapons look like paper swords and cap guns.

Of course... with 6 strength, you're probably slow and not well balanced for missions. :D
