Okay we're going to try this again.
This thread is intended as DISCUSSION relating to the Bounty Hunting scheme.
Claims, bounty placements, and general Bounty Hunting info is posted in
"Bounty Hunters? Now is your time!" thread. Please use this thread for any questions or general discussion relating to Bounty Hunting so we can keep the other thread clutter free. I hear those Huntmasters can be grumpy bastards, especially when they don't have any beer.
Oh and of course, keep it civil. We do NOT want a repeat of what happened in the last thread. If you have concerns or feedback or whatever else relating to Bounty Hunting that you'd like to raise with The Huntmasters, try to keep a cool head about it. This is all intended as a bit of fun to help improve your HMW experience.

Refresh my memory again, how does one go about applying for a bounty hunter's license? Playing in certain tournaments? I doubt a Lockdown-style reputation will be sufficent.

As far as I am aware, it's still kill all 12 of any commander's team (or all x number of charecters, then what ever number is still need of those charecters again if they have less than 12).

Fearless Echoes is correct, submit that and your licence will be granted.
We also suggest that those of you who took part in the scalphunt
read this.

Huntmasters, now that the final scores for the Scalphunt have been tallied, mayhap you could unlock the thread and keep it stickied, for ease in our personal tallying of killing an entire enemy team?

No dice. I'm keeping it stickied for a day or two more so people can see the results, but any tracking you need to do is on your own hands - the thread won't be deleted or anything, but it'd be a good idea to keep note of what you have in there and maybe a screencap just in case.

I'd have thought it more sencible to keep it in this thread, or start a whole new thread for it, rather than confuse the issue by recycling an old thread.

Another easy option(i believe Red mentioned a few posts up) is to use MS Word or notepad. just copy down all the info and save it and add to it when needed.

Actually it was me. Easy mistake though considering Red and I are both loud mouthed arrogant bastards who think they know everything.

Unfortunately, I don't really use the same computer to play most of the time.

I guess I can USB it though.

I cant spell, but I do have an ego the size of (at last count) everything that exists, has ever existed, and will ever exist.
So I think I win. That and I know more than Burn, about everything. FACT.

I was going to ask you something and try to stump you, but i'm pretty certain you know how to use Google so technically we all know everything.

Is it just me or is bounty hunting not as popular as we thought it'd be?
I thought it would have generated more interest, but there is still only like 4 or 5 hunters. guess people weren't as interested as it seemed

I have yet to find my quarry, enough to kill him.

there are 2 maxi's that seem to camp the arena with level 1's, their easy pickins. otherwise hope the person your huntin isn't avoiding your faction with 1 bot to keep people from getting liscened from their kills
there is also a lack of bounties, which kinda sucks. Oh well if i cna get a job i get a job. otherwise its business as usual.

I haven't any level 1s, in fact i am nearly to level 3. I can't hunt them The one I want is a predacon. And it is just matter of time.

Frankly I dont have the time to hunt down the almost infinite number of commanders I could potentially kill all 12 of. And evne trying to target the weakest of commanders I see regularly is an excersize in futility unless you have the time to devote to it, which I havnt had latly.
Im not gonna get into the old 'its really difficult as a pred' argument, cuase we know it is. Long and short of it, I fankly cant be arsed to go through the effort to activly hunt right now. I have one commander who I've got a head start with, thanks to the scalp hunt, but I cant see me getting the rest before the 2 weeks are out, so then I'll probably give up on it.
Sorry. But even I (who is normally game for anything) just cant be bothered.
EDIT: I bet she's hunting me... it's what she normally does!

You really do earn the ego don't you? Is there even a bounty to hunt on you? I didn't check, you aren't my quarry this time.
