I'm having a heck of a time trying to get my avatar up. I've got it within the parameters listed on the help topic, but whenever I try to copy and paste it from my computer I just get the little red-ex "no way" symbol...
Any ideas?

It has a 100k limit on it, possibly the avvy you are trying to upload is to big?

Okay, that may be it. I've got a 50x50 pic I'm manipulating in Photoshop, but I can't seem to squish it down any more. Any suggestions, in Photoshop or non-Photoshop, about how I can get an image file smaller? Thanks.

File type (try a .gif) is the only suggestion i can give, not having photoshop or anything like that on my PC.

Great, thanks for the advice. Hopefully I'll something a little more original up soon...
