Issue with PMs.

My PM folder is full (acording to the percentage thign at the top). So far it dosnt seem to be affecting incoming PMs, but it may have litrally only just become full. Unfortunetly, I seem unable to do anythign about this. Firstly, the mark all option dosnt work, at all, so once I manully marked all 10 posts, I went to look for a delete option.... Yeah. It's in a partially covered by the side of the site dropdown box. And the 'do it button'? Yeah, thats covered too...

So, I may not be able to accept PMs anymore, which could prove an issue, with my XP games and so on.

Yeah, like you get hundreds of PM's...

Workaround solution: Open the top PM and you should find a delete button at the top where you can remove it. Yes, this means you have to do them all one-by-one and yes, its a total pain in the ass.

This issue has been brought up in the staff areas so site admin and Seibertron are aware of it, and as far as we know its only a firefox issue. Ill chase up on it to try and see if there is a fix coming.

If you use another browser and still have this problem please yell here (and if you don't, feel free to laugh at Red).

YEah, that, the health bars and the images are all seibs problem. a shame the person responsible doesn't seem to like this "communist" browser and prefers the "buy American" approach :(

And then they wonder why people flock off to TFW2005 ...

Meh, the game image issues will be an irrelevance by the summer and as most of the admin don't necessarily use FF (or read their PM's), i'm not really surprised no one noticed, ive laso never seen this brought up in the boring (non-hmw) bits of the site, so its not widely publicised.

Ill keep those with issues up to date where I can, but i've rattled the staff forum cage to see if anyone can tell us when this will be fixed.

When the "new" site went live there was an outrage, mostly because of the borked images, Heck, even the signature size limit does NOT fit completely on a page in firefox. But I guess as long as the attitude of the mods in GD or other forums is "meh, not my problem" it won't be fixed. Only thing I can hope for is the site owner losing revenue because the people that complained and didn't see their issues fixed left the site already.

For me, I still have the "menu bar" jumping on various locations on the page, right now it's covering the search button and whichever button is below registry.

Yeah, looks like one of the .js scripts was bugging, I just blocked it and now it seems to run fine again. I had advertisement overlapping the page too etc.

Easier work around for deleting multiple PMs.

Select the ones you want to delete.

Go down to the drop down menu near the bottom of the page, select delete.

TAB from the menu to the go button for that menu. This will also scroll the 'page' over so you can see that button.

Either hit enter (since it's highlighted from being tabbed to) or click it since you can see it.

Select yes.

Wa-la. PMs deleted.

My birthday present to the firefox users.

Firefox users can also do this

Click View at the top of the browser
Page Style-> No Style.

Makes it so you can delete them.

Try it now. The mark all option is still broken but it looks like I got everything positioned properly now.

Just fixed the problem where the forums froze IE. IE 6, 7 and Firefox should work fine on this site now.
