Weapons an upgrading

I have two Cons who I'm working to upgrade so they can use some high level weapons. Specificlly the Neptune Sword(9 Fire/ 3 Skill) and Particle Beam Cannon (9 Fire/ 4 Skill). I was just wondering if these weapons would ultimatly be a waste of time/exp and I should just leave them with what they already have.

Depends on how you intend to get them. If you're planning to get them at level 1-2 area, you're wasting your time.

Right now, they're a waste of time. Having really powerful weapons is all nice and good, but if it's not part of a balanced build, it's a waste of time.
