Gun Noob Question

erm im still a noob but i have a basic understanding but i still dont get why there is so many guns with same stats but it seems more ppl chose it or its better there isnt any proper stats besides lght to very heavy if any1 could reccommend weapons for each firepower level plz so i can get it or explain

As a rull of thumb, its better to go for the gun with the best average chance of causign damage.
A weapon with light to devastating rnge may sound awesome, but it means it will do as many crap hits as it does awesome hits. A weapon with medium to very heavy would be therefore better, becuase its minium damage will *always* be better than the minimum damage of the previously mentioned weapon, even if it's maximum damage isnt quite as good.
I know that's about as clear as mud, but frankly, the difference between most weapons at a particular stat range is small compaired to the difference between low strength unarmed and low strenght armed.

These are the consensus best weapons (well at least most popular) -
0 FP/SKL - Null Ray
1 FP - Heat Seeking Laser Blaster
2 FP - Double-Shelled Plasma Shotgun
3 FP - Brawn Blaster
1 SKL - Mace
2 SKL - Heavy Kick to the Nuts

thanks for information on why and what are best now my 2 firepower guy shall be ultimate weapon of mass destruction with my double barreled plasma shotgun if i can get 2k more lol 30k is a lot
