couldn't there be an automatic wipe of everyone who hasn't logged into their account for HMW like every 3 months or so,....or maybe I should post this in the "ideas for HMW 2.0 thread".

ok bye.

and yea, get over it man, level 0 is something we all did, :-) :APPLAUSE:

gotta give'em atleast a year. maybe 2. granted i hate all the wasted space, but sometimes you wanna play an already started game. starting over after a couple of months off is brutal...

yea i agree, i deploy here in the winter and i would not be happy with that at all! i think a year or 2 would be better. Prior to last years wipe there were 30,000 players, and maybe a 1/4 of em were active. So i can see where a 12-18 month wipe would be a good idea.

yeah, and you're just clumsy and that's why you fall down stairs a lot. and you also talk too much, that's why ya get black eyes....sounds like someone is in denial,...if ya need someone to talk to, someone is somewhere....

(sounds like a quote from family guy or something heh)

but yeah, back on topic, I still think that if you're inactive you should not be totally deleted, just reset to zero after a few months,...maybe 3 to 12 -ish would sound right to me.

Hell no! Maybe after like 18 months.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to play this game in Iraq? The servers suck, and I would rather spend the time talking to family *gasp I know you guys are my family, but sometimes real life interfers*

Er why does it need to be wiped in the first place?

The whole appeal of HMW for some people is the fact that they can pick up from where they left off at any time, including a set time where your levels are reset wouldn't really help anyone. If a lot of new players stopped playing, the problem then comes from an overabundance of player profiles, not the level that their team is at, but then again, has there ever been a server problem from too many accounts? (if yes, then disregard that last bit)

Simply put, resetting people's teams is a pointless idea, if I knew my team would be reset after 3 or so months, I would give up playing after the first reset, sure my team may only be level one, but I would rather be there than back to basics again.

Nope, only too many battle logs, which usually corrected in the middle of any tournament run by Burn.

Dormant/Inactive accounts won't be removed. They never have been in the past and we can almost guarantee that the never will be in the future. The site itself has thousands of inactive accounts that go back to the very beginning, a fair number of which will have HMW game data attached and it makes little to no difference what levels they were as the information stored is exactly the same.

Naturally, the switch from V1 to V2 will be the exception, everyone is getting wiped for that, but that a well known fact and has been known since forever.

These accounts will simply be left to dwindle whilst everyone else overtakes them. Were not going to be penalising players for having to go on active service, finding a different jobs with no internet access, or the even more unlikely event of a few of us actually getting a life...

Unless they're TMM's.

Or War Hammer's.

Hell let's just get CB to delete their accounts entirely. 8)

Lol love the pic Pychout and I agree with it totally. Now back on topic yeah I think give people a 3 years before you delete them because some of us have college and other things to do and can't always be on playing HMW. Mind you it is annoying starting over at 0

Aaahh but then you get people like me who before gave up because they had a snowball's chance of catching up to the big dogs. Now with everyone wiped and having a glass ceiling of level 4, things are much more compact and people have an easier time of getting caught up. People won't be trying for years to get to the top, merely months.

Primus hands you lemons, you make lemonade.
