breaking HMW 1.7 or 1.8 or whatever this version is

ok guys,

hopefully by newyear (touch wood) we will have a HMW 2.0 :)

i know this version is in code lockdown however those of us who applied for the SPL now have a nice level 7 or 8 bot to throw into the arena,I was wondering what other presents,levels missions, general re-coding of HMW you would like to see as a send off to the game ?

im sure when MP is finished with 2.0 im sure we can twist his arm to crash HMW one last time.

or be allowed to use the 'secret' level 11 option that happens when you click upgrade to many times

You've got very little optimisum in MP's ability to d othis if you think anybody will manage to get that kinda xp before he's ready to flip the switch.

Hell, Im the 5th ranked commander in the entire game right now, and I cant even scrape together a level 5 (ignoring Universal Migrator).

sorry meant now when upgrading our level 7/8s if you click to quickly it can jump upto level 11 on one stat

Altering xp is one thing we actually can still do (though the site crashed a few hours ago, we probably lost even that ability).

Realistically though the whole "quickly clicking" thing doesn't work for everyone.

But does anyone have any send-off suggestions?

Can we have a list of what you can do? It would help with the idea merchants amongst us if we know what the actual limitations are. I somehow think the endgame myself and JP were developing way back when is truly out of the window... (even if I *could* convince him to get his lazy backside back here).

XP and alt modes.

As far as a storyline goes, Psychout is developing one to explain the transition. I'd like to see a little writing competition (remember the days when we use to have fics coming out the wazoo?) with players telling stories of where and what their teams were up to when the poop hits the fan.

Ahh, well there Im not much use, never been much of a writer, whilst a lot of our ideas were mine, and the development of them a joint venture, all the writing was by and large JP's, with the exception of Dreadspawn's bio, which is an amalgamation of mine and JP's writing.

See, the question for me is, how would this be explained? Is it going to be like a plasma energy chamber, everybody is shut off for a period of time, get reformatted due to the energy released, then reactivated?

If I just knew a little bit, then I could start on my team's situation

Psychout has a great story done up to explain things. When things are closer he'll be releasing it and then people can work their magic over their own characters.

It's better than writing, your vision is 20/20 in your left eye and 20/20 in your right eye and your pressure is 15 right eye and 16 left eye......
