Alt Modes

Hiya guys, been playing and checking out the game for a day now, and I really like it's simplicity.

Was just wondering, when I started, there were a lot more alt modes available, about 162, now there's only 78 available, what's up ?

Furthermore, I haven't seen any real strategy guides for starting characters yet, but I'm guessing Speed, Courage or Strength seem the best choices to me so far, depending on weapons also of course.

Am I wrong ?

We are just waiting for Old Glyphie boy to activate the new alts when he's ready. When he does that, we will have more alts.

I'd answer your question about setups, but I'm no good at that sort of thing.

speed, courage, and strength is what i'd go with

Welcome to HMW!

As VP said the alts will be sorted shortly. As for the game itself, try the FAQ and any other questions you have feel free to ask around here.

But at level 0 all that really matters is that auto CR is turned on and there is pleanty of 'Destroy Wheelie' matches to create havoc in.

Hope you picked the right team...

Good choice!
Jump in the Arena and the 'Destroy Wheelie' missions (more targets to aim for) and after a short while hopefully you'll have your first stat. The first 1000xp are the hardest to make at any part of the game but once you get that point you can begin see the difference.

Good luck!

Yeah, 'cause needing 8 million xp for an upgrade is soooooo much easier! ;;)

Well I've already got 3 TF's now with a stat point, chosen courage for 2 of them, 3rd I gave a point of speed to see the difference.

Also gonna train a combatter, gonna give him Courage/Strength first I think.

I also gave him a sword, but I just read somewhere it really sucks and it's better to go unarmed instead .. ? Doesn't strength also increase damage with my sword ?

All weapons have various starting points of damage.

The sword's just happens to be lower than punch/kick damage thus making it better to go unarmed instead of using the sword.
