I am looking for two similar level bots/cons with a difference of two in firepower that allows them to wield items such as (Lazerblazer sword and Black Magic). Questions and stats to follow.

Thanks.

No I am looking for those two as they are 2 points away from each other in firepower, but towards the end of the spectrum

I am trying to see if I can trade a monitoring service complete with analyzable of captured data and math sheets provided for the ability to monitor similar builds using weapons such as the ones I listed

Laser-Blazer Broadsword 8 Firepower 2 skill
Black Magic 6 Firepower 2 skill

This is to help me better understand high end damage vs low end weapon damage of similar builds.

As soon as I think I have figured out armor adjustments I will be looking for similar contributes for damage absorbing properties between similar, but armor is much harder to do since it is much more expensive and consistent builds to do damage are going to be harder to play with.

Tantrum is the proud bearer of a Black Magic (at level 6). I can reconfigure him any way you'd like (within reason).
Rampage is also a Black Magic carrier, although I'd rather not reconfigure him.

Actually Alldarker / N_V if you wouldn't mind I would like to do a data capture of your characters to see the average damage and typical data of hits/misses/ etc and other mind numbingly boring stuff. I am trying to determine a few things that I have a theory on. I am more than willing to send you a copy of the data I capture and the math that I do. I don't need anyone to reset anything. I just wish to do some math and see if I have a good handle on a few things.

Sure. Anything to help ;)

Two ways to save time.

• If you have strength, don't bother with weapons until you can equip a Fusion Canon.

• Find where all the data for this sort of research is already stored.

Voila. 8)

Thanks for the input Burn, but I actually find it fun to do the research myself and learn what I can. Besides the difference for the fusion cannon and the other weapons are a few levels. I am trying to determine a few things besides raw damage.

I disagree.

Proton packs and gattling guns with 10 str do better damage than just 10 str.

Acid rain makers and lazer broad swords aint too bad either.

Theoretically having any weapon + 10 strength is better than 10 strength if the weapon damage does more than Heavy damage.

10 Strength does a constant damage. Weapons below Heavy Damage + 10 strength can just do max damage or Minimum damage + base strength multiplier. A Fusion Cannon should have the best damage multiplier on the game, however the roll chance on the light rating on there means that it does have a minimum damage chance of base + Strength multiplier.

Which should be much easier if you get access to the code ...
Burn knows more than he ever lets on. mwahahaha

_Anshin_: you can data capture my characters without any problems, and yes, I would appreciate the data (not boring at all!). I can well imagine researching stuff yourself is pretty rewarding in its own right, even if the results are known or available beforehand.
So Burn, with all your access to 'the code', how about you get to work on HMW 2.0

Which is why I've always told and been told to go for any gun with a)no recharge and b) the highest minimum damage rating.Given a constant stat level, a Fusion Cannon and any other weapon, say a Dol Rifle rolls a minimum damage, is there not a possibility that the Dol will be the stronger, since it rolled a "moderate" as its minimum as opposed to the Fusion's "light"? Or is there further data that I'm missing?

given the same stats, a fusion cannon is "baseline" better due to the requirements (i have nothing to back that up and may be completely wrong). on the maximum side Fusion wins, but there should be a difference in minimum damage.

then again I think gattling guns and proton pack rifles are best. Proton packs are great for the damage and if you pass the 7 fpr required, it just adds to damage (as long as you have the 10 str to back it up). the "recharge" time ends up rather moot when tactics and brawling is involved (you can still punch and kick if the weapon is recharging).

since str adds to all damage, maxing str is a must. and after a 5 str weapons are useless untill the required stats(fpr and skill) are at least 10. once the required stats are above 10 you can start to notice the difference in damage.

What NV States is true and pretty much on the money from what data I was collecting before June. The low recharge rate becomes a nominal factor in higher level fights. However it is very unlikely that the Dol will do more damage than a Fusion cannon.

Again anything is possible with the game since its all based on RNG, however we can look at this from two aspects.

The lowest shot from the Fusion Cannon vs the lowest from the Dol against the same target with the same end/armor would probably yield a minor difference with the Dol just edging it out. If that is the only damage done then yes you would end up with an instance of the Dol doing more damage.

The other aspect is a typical fight, if you eliminate tactics and throw out the high and low damage for 5 of these typical fights you will see that the damage for the Fusion Cannon on average is much higher.

Going to be literal here, but shouldn't that be at most ten, since anything hire tends to piss off Burnsy with just cause...

EDIT: Didn't finish my original thought there but what was it you meant for a good minimum then, or that wer should just foget guns after 5 strength, whuich is backwards to the old advicw that weap0ns are largely useless in the lower levels until you can buile up.

Okay, okay. Weapons are useless when improperly prgrammed. I will give you that.
