Well, after a little bit of discussion it's been decided that we will allow for botmodes to appear in HMW. However they will appear in the same style as altmodes, and thus must be made. Naturally, like the altmodes they will have to have flat colour, 2px stroke, gif and transparent background with 50x50 and another at 30 x 30. This thread will be the place for the artists' galleries, community requests, and any further discussion on the subject.

Nope, just like you don't have to choose an alt, you won't have to choose a bot mode. At this stage when they're implemented, it'll only be for ascetic reasons. Nothing game-affecting.

Not necessarily, my current plan is to only have these pics show up on the character profile pages. Thus if you're in a hurry and need to dump chars into missions, there will be no change.

Bio pages is fine (and yet another old idea), I just wouldn't want to see a flood of alt AND bot mode pics when trying to read a log.

First off, I'm incredibly pleased that we'll be getting this as a feature. While I'd support actual artwork thumbnails (which is open to exploitation as mentioned numerous times), this is definitely better than nothing.

We won't have to worry about a robot mode rotator though, right? I hope? Please?

Actually Windy's mention of the rotater got me thinking.

Can the bot modes be linked to the alt mode?

Basically once you choose the alt mode that bot mode (or a list of various bot modes based on that alt) will be made available?

Thats good thinking Burn, there must be at least 3 or 4 robot mode pics for every alt in the rotator. To have a selection would means ourt minions wont all look alike.

Airhawk, you might wanna hit Mkall or one of the other alt makers up on tips to get rid of the white borders. (Highlight your pics and you'll see what I mean)

Ah didn't spot those since I've only looked at them on a white background, I know what the prob is though so I'll go back and fix them later on.

Cool idea I like the bot modes being linked to alt modes idea too.... could be a lot of work though.
