Same, I was just feeling nostalgic, looking through old browser games I used to play and I ended up here again.

It's fun to be back though, and this game is actually ideal for work.

I've popped in every now and then to see how things were going. Started playing again more recently though... it's very odd to keep coming up against the likes of Super Megatron (oh look, here comes another Fusion Cannon one-shot :P ) with my puny L1s.

Miss some of the old names though :-(

Always here to give people the ol' 31 flavors of Fusion Cannon goodness.

Many of us still drop in from time to time. And I still post more often than crazyfists.

We should let Steve's team do the talking.

It's actually good to see that his team are mostly my level still, I thought I'd be left way behind with the time off I've been having. Might have someone to actually fight against, as Scortch is the only other person I see regularly, and he has like 8 million on his level 4s.

it is good to still see some variety in levels, but nothing beats playing against level 11's :-) (or with as a repairer)

And for those at lower levels with way too much xp, I just don't understand it, they are hurting themselves as much as they are hurting anyone else. Access to higher level missions is so vital that playing 2 (or 3 in some cases) levels below where you could be is just stupid. But for the xp they cost me, it does make me that much happier when I past them in the rankings!!

For some of the most extreme cases, I'm curious what the xp cutoff is...seems like they are way too high if 24M can be level 6 and 49M can be level 7.

Its great isn't it? 100k on a level 5 repairer makes all the 0/0's worth while.
Edit: Even 60K is a decent result :D
EditEdit: 120k is even better though. Who cares if we lost?

Yeah, I've never understood it either. You may suck for a week or so once you level up, but the increase in your damage and payout modifiers make all the difference and you overtake the cowards* very quickly.
Code: Select all
Level cap amounts.
level 0 < 40,000
level 1 < 350,000
level 2 < 750,000
level 3 < 2,000,000
level 4 < 4,500,000
level 5 < 10,000,000
level 6 < 25,000,000

These are the levels caps, as set by OS back in 2005ish, there wasn't a cap for L7 and beyond. As far as I know they are still relevant, but only kick in once a bot is reset, so we could have people going way over them without even noticing 'til they reformat.

...and I'll still never get used to you being a 'con Sprok, even if it has been years since you came back.

*Am I still allowed to call them that?

It's actually only been a little over 2 months since I came back and actually started playing. I created 6 cons and got to maybe 2000 experience years ago, but didn't reach level 1 until July of this year.

I've always been a Con at heart. I was a decepticon in the original game, but due to extreme game imbalance jumped ship to the maximals and then to the autobots (or vice versa) to help balance out the game.

Sky Lynx I don't know anything about, now I feel like a newbie lol. I joined the game in the middle of the Ghost Rider fallout, but it was a year or so before I bothered to join the forums properly, just after Glyph took over. Kinda glad we don't get drama like that these days though, it's amazing what people complain about in a free game.

And Burn, you know we don't talk about him here. Poor old Crazyfists hasn't said a word since he left...

Basically there were two top teams lead by Sky Lynx and some other guy. They turned out to be the same bloke.

Same **** as Ghost Rider really.

If I remember properly, it was GR that outed him. There was a little group of them that worked to hold the top spots, GR "betrayed" them.

He once described Whisper as a "speed bump".

Whisper laughed. Then we teamed up and beat him up. Good times.
