Howdy fellow Seibertronians and welcome to the Transformers Photo Challenge. This is a monthly Seibertron.com feature hosted by yours truly. Each challenge will have a theme and a description of any guidelines that need to be followed. To participate; setup some figures, snap a few pictures and post the images in the discussion below. The Transformers Photo Challenge is for all skill levels and is just about having fun. Previous challenges can be found here.


Female Transformers, aka fembots, have been around since G1 but still seem to generate much debate. With the most recent additions to this exclusive club (Windblade and Victorion (Pyra Magna, Stormclash, Skyburst, Dustup, Jumpstream and Rust Dust)) being the products of fan voting. There seems to be something intriguing about the concept of genders existing in a gender-less race of transforming robots. This challenge will be about exploring Cybertronian diversity.

Not the best photo in the world, but I'm away from home on vacation at the moment and don't have my regular gear. Still pretty fond of this, though. I just recently picked up Legends Groove, and I had to take it. (I'm also new to the photo challenge, so go easy on me )

I call this, "Choices" (sorry for the quality, iphone)

I consider Medix to be a fembot because she is a nurse.

Officially Medix is a male in both his Rescue bots and G1 counterparts so despite what your headcanon says otherwise Medix doesn't count for this.



And Medix is not a nurse we might as well say that Ratchet and First Aid are female for the same reason.

Well, I have to give this one to Ripclaw, from Transformers Prime! Predacon, dragon, sort of looks like Otachi from Pacific Rim, what's not to love about her? She's gotta be my favorite from the toy line!

It's funny cos the tongue-cheek-story this image is based on is probably more relevant in this age than it was back in 1989.

Thanks, and yeah, that's all they are. It's cobbled together from at least a half a dozen different sets, unfortunately, so it's not one of those things you can just build out of the box. :-/
