The original is about the size of Scorpanok, maybe a little bigger I believe. So they are about halfway between the RM and the G1 versions I'd guess.

ko beast machines prime
was very hard to find for me:

the last three photos were from bwtf.com....he took way better pics than me
in my collection:

nearly as tall and wide as PM prime....oh and nearly as articulated.
thats the goal with him....arms and legs that bend well, not just a little or none!

That is the coolest looking KO I have ever seen! it may just be the photo's but the plastic looks very high quality to me!

actually it is.
it's as good in quality as any of the alts i have.
infact i have a hard time justifying cutting it up. it looks soooo good.
but posability is rather limited.
one of my favorite bootlegs...hell favorites in general

Ah yes! We used to sell that figure at the Big Lots I work at. I like the smaller version better, but I imagine it's still a nice figure to have.

looks good from the front, but as I remember the transformation was awful, am I right?

awful is a rough term.
after all it is no worse than a g1 fig...but then again, that is not saying
much.
it doesn't have much articulation in the knees or legs, but here is enough here to be ok, it's the arms...forward ---------- thats it, nothing else.
he needs a swivel in his shoulder and in his elbow and were good.
cept then i have to cut the arm in two, fill with styrene disks and hinge
epoxy, sand and color match....so i'm still not ready to cut him up.
expecially since he really only sits on the self for display.

Wait a minute, you're trying to defend THAT transformation!?! Post a pic of his back in each mode. That bot transforming is about as tricky as my Silverhawks MonStar, oh wait, MonStar was spring loaded, so no, not quite that good. I mean common, the arms stay identical in both modes, from the waist down stays exactly the same. Only thing that REALLY changes is the head. Other than that the front becomes the back and vice versa, am I wrong?

You just Decribed Blast Punch Primal rather well

I own the mold, and it far surpasses Hasbro's feeble attempts at a show accurate Primal. Not that I realy Want a show accurate Primal, being that I hate that nutcase.......but still good 'offbrand' transformer.

Blast Punch is a step better if you ask me, I mean I love the way his legs fold up, if you look at pics of a gorilla walking on all fours, that oddly shaped thigh functions really well in both modes. And most importantly both modes look good from 360'. The gorilla back arch is amazing, plus, you've gotta love the jet pack. What that mold really needed was a decent paint job. IT WAS ROBED. It should be re-released for the anniversary with a show accurate paint job like its beast wars bretheren.

not really defending the lack of transformation.
but really i do like this guy!
it's got great color, great detail and is very accurate.
if you missed it, it's on my shelf with all of the other versions of prime.
i have all the different versions of BW and BM prime and honestly *next to big convoy* i like this one the best. he needs work but i own much worse. and atleast he wasn't $80 and shipped messed up
so i'll take it.

What is with that white faceon Superion? Makes him look like a badly done clown...

Oh man, you have to see the close up shot. He looks like a transvestite.
This is how he came originally.

Any plans on painting the limb-bots to be more G1 accurate.....I think that would look pretty cool

That's the plan. But my Devastator bash is taking all my time. Probably after he's finished I'll start on the repaint.

I too have this giant-ass knock off of superion, and already did the repaint.
I'll post pictures a.s.a.p.
EDIT: Here they are:
I didn't really take the time to paint all the details in, as you can see..
