1986 Movie Poster... Using Toys!

I made this for a thread in the Toy Discussion Forum called, "Let's see your '86 Movie Classics Autobots and Decepticons line up," but thought I'd share it here, as well. Anyway, I'd thought to myself, "Well, what better way to show some of them off then by remaking the movie poster using the toys?"
Here is what resulted:

In order to make it... Well, first I found an image of the poster and downloaded it. Then, I started taking some photographs, trying to match the poses in the poster. I started with the five main Autobots:

In retrospect, I wish I'd had Kup and Blurr a bit closer to the camera, but I suppose it still works.
Then everybody else was photographed separately:

Then I had to paint out the backgrounds on the photographs, replacing them with a transparency.
Wheelie and Rodimus were just pasted directly over their illustrated images on the original poster. Everyone else, I had to (crudely) paint out their original images, and paste the photographs roughly over where they'd have been. I tried to keep Ultra Magnus's laser blast from the original, and used that as a guide in placing the photograph of the five Autobots, so that Ultra Magnus's gun lined up with the beam. Everyone else had new lasers (crudely) drawn in. (Springer got an extra one, as his toy has a double barreled gun!) I smoothed out the background as much as my meager talent would allow (to get rid of some of the larger artifacts left over from my removal of the original character art), and retyped in the words over Unicron (I made them a bit larger then on the original, but I'm fine with it). I threw a lens flair on Ultra Magnus's laser beam and applied a light canvas effect over the whole image, both done to help cover up some rough edges in the image. Finally, I stuck a watermark of my avatar in the corner, and called it a day! The result was the image I presented above.
Hope you like it!
