hey all, so I was thinking about something. I REALLY LOVE the RotF Toys... kidding, that's just a part of the idea, as well as a question raised. I was rummaging through the storage area under my stair case the other day, and saw a piece of scrap sheet metal in there. It got me to thinking of a custom non-transforming leader class Optimus Prime figure that a fellow customizer had done over on TFW, and he used tin from soda cans to make the armor plating for the toy. He made the figure completely movie accurate down to a T, but it doesn't transform anymore. So I'm here tinting the windows on my leader Prime, and a thought struck me.. What if I used the sheet metal in the crawl space, and sanded the surfaces of the armor plating on prime the glued the metal onto those surfaces??? So now I am wondering.. does anyone think this is going to far with customizing??

Buddy some guy posted in the kitbash/custom figures section of a 8ft tall prime he built out of various household appliances. When it comes to customs, going to far is normally what makes it "custom" ;)

Good point LiKwid.. I am in the process of figuring out what to use so far. I'm thinking metal mending tape :)
