Something that munches plastic?

I need something that will utterly cut through and shave plastic down.

All I have are exacto knives, and they just don't seem to cut it!
BUH DUM TISS

I'm trying my hardest to shape a few legs out for poor little legless PCC mudslinger. All I have to work with is one really torn up DOTM Skyhammer though.

My point is, I need something that will cut through plastic with ease and precision. Any sort of tool out there like this? Would a dremel tool work?

I've used a Dremel many times, the trick is to have the right bit and to be careful with what you're doing.

I use the discs with my dremmel, I also use snips (something similar to this). Snips are also very useful if you build any model kits.

They cut through thicker plastics like a champ as long as you're careful and patient.

When it comes to cutting/shaping/sanding etc. always remember that you can always remove plastic, but you can't add plastic back once it's been cut/shaved off etc. (unless you use glue) so I definitely recommend being conservative with your cuts.

A good needle file set is also good for customizing/shaping things. I have this set and they're pretty decent.
