I came for the gaiking pics and I wasn't disappointed :-) you got a super deal on these and I wish I could see them in person but c'est la vie. I spy a couple of gaikings support vehicles in a few of the pics, were they from this set as well as they could combine with gaiking in the show as well.

Yeah, that support flying sting ray vehicle came with it. And yes, it can combine with Gaiking for his flying Gaiking mode :) If there are shots you want to see, let me know.

Did you get a turtle like vehicle with it as well? That forms a cannon that replaces one of gaikings lower arms. As for pictures, one with normal gaiking in flying mode would be nice :D did they include any extras to reference face open mode?

Oh yeah, big time, I will try to get a pic tonight of face open mode.

As for the turtle, no its only the manta ray, and I will attach it tonight fo flight mode.

I realize there arevery few pics of these online in non standard poses (and combos)

Thanks will :D how secure are the panels that cover the chest? The peg holes look tiny there! Can the manta ray attach to the other machines at all (or is it only the gaiking back/shoulders it connects to)

Oh ****, sorry I didnt realize I had not replied yet.

So yeah the peg holes are super tiny so the panel is very very secure and very tight once you insert all the pegs.

About the Manta Ray, it only attaches to Gaking's back. But since the front panels are interchangeable, you can still make it work for attaching a different front to that back portion.

Here are some other shots of the KO figures I got today and yesterday

Nice and thanks for the reply :-P, I wasn't aware they started making kos of the diabattles stuff (not that I'm surprised)

That shockwave is impressive, how's it hold up for being a ko? I'm guessing it's based off a third party release?

yeah, he is based on the war in poket series (I think) and he holds up perfectly. Plastic feels really nice. These KOs are only cheap because they have 0 design and development costs, their material is top notch.

Oooh, those are nice! The Shockwave (the Iron Factory one IIRC) looks really good. How big is it? I seem to recall they upsized the mold a tiny amount but I'm not sure by how much. I love that he comes ith the tiny Diaclone mecha too.

All those figures are cool, Billy! I love Stampy. So silly and fun for lots of reasons. One being, EAR SWORDS!

How does the shockwave compare to those Megatrons we got a while back? I'm hoping the answer is, better. Not that the Megs were terrible. I just thought the quality was a little lacking. But for a KO, pretty good.

Is Magnus the size of a deluxe? I love my IF one even though the alt mode is meh at best.
Also, did your Diabattles come with an extra Powered suit too? I like the purple one. So weird that that company they including them with everything.

Yes the quality for shockwave is better than for that megatron. Its pretty amazing quality actually. And the clea plstic is perfect, you'd love it. It has that perfect candy colour, I just want to eat it up, lots of extra hands too.

I dont know the original, but as you guys can see, shockwave is a tad bit bigger than my basic beast wars toys, so a big scout.

And yes, Magnus is deluxe sized, which is pretty cool. Is this the same mold as your IF one? And yes, my daibattles did come with a suit of armour, so I have 2 now.

Ali Express, my friend. If there is something you deeply desire, it is probably there are a much cheaper price. But odds are its a knock off too. But I am ok with KOs, especially when it is of 3rd party figures. Its like in Thor Ragnarok when Hulk smashes Thor around and Loki goes like "Now you know how it feels!". That kind of thing.

Anyways yeah, there is a but of KO diabattles stuff out there but the quality is of course not as good as the original. The Shockwave figure I did get however is of premium quality, it even feels better than the 3rd party toys I actually do have, I was really surprised.

The small diaclone suit actually came with Shockwave, so that was a nice bonus.
And I know it is a long time due, but here is a shot to show you the scale:

Nice, I haven't been on ali in a while, thought it was a pain to navigate. It's funny that you use kickback there as he's the guy I've got on my bedside table  love that little guy.

Holy ****, I havent posted in almost a year. Man that went by quick, thats what happens when you have work, two kids, and news to maintain.

My ongoing collection is getting whatever I want that comes out, so it isnt really original. BUT there was something fun I found recently, that was big robot related. As I keep saying, Goldorak (known to you guys probably as Grendizer) is a big deal in Quebec. He is the main robot in our regional pop culture (due to france being big on doing some decent dubs of japanese cartoons in the 70s and 80s). So I was with my family at a breakfast joint and look at the kids menu section
