There's a fix for this! Some have speculated that it is the intended method of transformation, but none of us can read Japanese, so we can't say. But...
If you pull the plate that the neck ball and post are on up from the back, the plate clicks and locks into place. It's a loud click and honestly feels a little scary, but it works great. I have done it over a dozen or so times, and nothing has broken, and no stress marks what so ever. I've found when going to robot mode it's best to hook your finger under the back of the plate and pull. That way you're not stressing the ball and post the head connects too. On the way back to car I try to press down on the top of his head.

Although Tracks is a little too cartoon accurate for my taste, I think he is FANTASTIC! I have had him in a one footed running pose on my desk for about a week or so, and he still hasn't fallen over. Even when jostled. Now that's Masterpiecey!

Oh and I noticed not Scattershot. He looks great! I just don't like to talk about Quantron because he's just to far out of my range. :(

EDIT: One more thing. you got Blue Blue!!! For some reason I didn't think you were going to get him. What do you think? Ain't he just gorgeous? Are you going for Clampdown too?

Scattershot.

:-D

I have the G1 Scattershot, he actually had a lot of articulation. I really need to get on this Combiner Wars bandwagon. I don't know why I'm not buying these figures!!!

Oh wait....Masterpiece....

Scattorshot is the best one . love the aesthetic and colours he's a very sharp looking robot plus the spaceship mode looks sweet on the base like it's blasting off .

I like Spartan but for me Commotus is version i'm gonna get . Sort of hoping to see a darker repaint of Impactor down the road with a more orange and dark purple paint job

Cobz thanks man! I will def try this on Tracks :)

I was not aware that you were pining for Quantron...my apologies  . I was actually considering him until Warbo came out with theirs...Not sure if you check the etailers but they are all selling Quantron piece meal now and I believe they did have some good christmas pricing on them recently...

You know I did say once upon a time that I was not interested in the odd ball MPs but I have quickly become an MP completist and yes I am in on Clampdown got him on pre-order...

The only one I absolutely don't want is Tiger Track...

Oh Itscram...thanks for the sarcasm ;). I here ya on the non-existent official MP combiners...I really hope Has/Tak does one soon I think would be epic...but it would have to be Devy otherwise it would feel weird...

That non Scatter shot is a really good figure, he has a lot of playability IMO esp if you don't mind parts forming which I don't.

Commotus is gonna be a great fig, obviously since its the same mold, but not sure if I wanna do the DJD for my collection yet...I want to get my focus back on the G1 cast first...

I was thinking the same thing G2.0!! Obscure characters = KO goodness. RocketPunchArmy and Ben's Collectibles usually have awesome things to say about the KOs, and they point out all of the shortfalls and the gains!

That being said I haven't picked up any yet. I think MP Ratbat will have to be purchased as KO, I don't need two Sound(blaster)wave, and the figure by himself is way too pricey.

Everyone kewl is a bit(or much more) crazy, and I am kewl with that most "sane" people are TOO scary for wordz...so really it is a compliment my friend 8-}

Xmas was good we had xmas eve here at our house so that mom in law could visit with everyone without having to travel. I did not cook as I normally would to time consuming for this year and my stress level. But I did have it catered by a supermarket chain here in the NE which is awesome...Wegman's (if you ever get a chance go they do not disappoint) their products/services are top notch. Got many kudos on the food...but I digress. Santa (i.e. my credit card) got me a few figures before xmas and I actually have a few coming today which were delay :(... oh well. I will post some pics in a few mins :D

Hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday Cobz!(?) Hope Santa was good to you and the fam.

I did have a good holiday thanks for asking, and I hope you and the wifey had a good one as well? Did Santa bring you any good things that you can post in your thread(Cobz and Istcram that goes your you as well)? How goes the customs btw? Not sure if I fell of the list for getting notices on that...

I have the KO Exhaust...is it bad that I ended up getting the official? LOL I did get him for a good price...I felt dirty having a straight up KO in the house LOL. He was good tho' nice and tight (that sounds weird) the only thing wonky was the paint really, and that wasn't terrible.

Not sure if I wanna do the KO thing again...I was very tempted with the oversize Grimmy KO everyone who has gotten him has raved...but I have not been swayed yet.

Yeah I watch RPA all the time...one of the reasons I bought the KO exhaust. Speaking of which if you're interested I have one ta'sell since I got the official.

How was your holiday Istrcam? How bout that heat here in the NE on xmas? I was gonna pull out the AC it was so warm!

RPA is great! No thanks on Marlboor, toooooo obscure for me :michaelbay:

We had a great one! It WAS warm, AC was definitely on (ham in the oven made the house even WARMER!). For Christmas, I picked up 1-Step Strongarm for my little girl and then the day after CW Ultra Magnus for me, posted a picture of baby girl playing with them over on my page :) She already plays with CW Optimus so Magnus was a logical step. It's actually made me re-think what I want to focus on, as I could buy the "Generations" stuff and we could BOTH play with them!! (although she does OK with the MP figures too  )

Was that the BBTS deal?! If so, that is also on my list of regrets (along with YOTH MP Prime  )

I really don't know why I don't have him, I liked the character on..

VU! VU! VIC-A-TOR-Y!! TA-RANS-FO-MA VIC-A-TOR-Y!!

(effing love that theme song)

..and I liked the crazy "new Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord" that he was in IDW.

Andras(Scourge) and Rimfire(Fracas)...I know quite a few people were on the fence with XTB after Apollyon (myself included)... but this guys is really quite good! Not without his issues but the QC is much better than with Apollyon.

If I could steer back, MP Tigertrack is only running about 150 at the moment. E-Hobby, fugetaboutit. He's 3-4 bills.

Gotta say that I'm pretty surprised to hear all the.. not-love for T-Tracky. Maybe I'm an odd duck, but I've ended up liking those niche repaints more than the real deals. I thought Tiger was striking when I opened him up, and had only bought him for completions sake. But now... Tiger is my favorite Lambor, Blue and Silver are my favorite Datsuns, Blaster over Wave, ect.

I see a yellow Countach and I ask "Why aren't you Sunstreaker?" I think that's my only problem with him. I also am pretty sure I would've preferred Bluestreak as he was the toy/comic character we were shown but not the cartoon character we received. I'm probably still gonna get him as I just love the Datsuns and Alternators Shockwave needs someone to fight on my desk

Remember those posts where I found the actual Datsun cars for sale?! Good times :KREMZEEK:

And Andras, I had on pre-order but decided I only wanted to cross the 3P line in extreme cases like Megatron.
