Haha yeah, it can absolutely be nerve racking when you click the buy button on something that expensive. Magnus has been my holy grail for a long time now so I'm glad he's finally mine. So far I've been pretty good about ONLY getting the MP figures of my favorite characters... hopefully I don't end up buying them all

I do, but they're not my primary focus. UM is on the list of must haves, followed by Ironhide, Hot Rod, Road Rage and Shockwave. I'm pretty much a mold collector when it comes to MP. I pick one and call it a day, but money talks so dupes are not out of the question.

I think they are fun and challenging but a bit too fiddly most of the time for a quick play. So they fill the void when I want a challenge.

Just got around to transforming Mags and it truly is a very intuitive transformation. The alt mode is a beauty as well.

Cary- I can definitely understand how MP is not your main focus; that is probably smart due to the cost. So far I've been pretty good about only getting my favorite characters but I'm afraid I may slip to the dark side and get all of them
While I like season 1+2 more than 3+4, Hot Rod is on the shortlist for me as well.

Thanks scary! Prowl is indeed a nearly perfect figure. His head sculpt is perfect and I love how they nailed the angling of the doors that hang off his back. The only complaint I have for Prowl is his lack of accessories. I wish that he had an alternate face at least (that's my favorite MP accessory for all characters). Especially compared to Ironhide who has his own armory of accessories.

Do you not have Ironhide? He is AWESOME!

I noticed you were asking about MP Starscream and thought I'd weigh in. Right now the Hasbro MP11 is the cheapest option but unfortunately comes with no goodies (coronation gear). The Takara MP11 will cost ya.

How patient are you? If you need him now, go Hasbro. If you're patient, then hold off. You never know what'll be reissued down the road.

The third option is the new KO. Don't ever buy anything like this without doing your homework (video reviews and such). I only own one MP KO (MP10 White Magnus) and wasn't pleased.

Also if you don't keep an eye on your local Kijiji listings, start doing that. I have gotten some killer deals

Thanks for the info! I'd rather not go down the KO route if possible. The problem is that the Toys R Us reissue of Starscream never showed in my area. I'm not sure if I'm patient enough for yet another reissue
I do enjoy watching video reviews and always watch them for figures I'm interested in. I've never heard of kijiji so I'll look into that.

In regards to Mightron, he is beautiful. Hes absolutely what I wanted out of a G1 cartoon accurate Megatron figure. I love the matte paint (don't like overly glossy). I just attempted to transform to gun mode and the difficulty is way out of my comfort zone so I think I'm gonna watch a video reviewer transform him and go along with them.

Wow! He looks really good! I like the way they handled the hips, legs and feet on him. You got that fast. Did you do expedited shipping? I'll be curious to hear about the transformation. I did watch a review and the transformation looked complex, but not overly so. Have fun with that big baddie.

And kiijiii (or how ever it's spelled )) is the Canadian equivalent to Craig's List. Are you Canoodlian Joe?

Yeah the transformation is a bit out of my league so I'm gonna need a tutorial on YouTube. I'll be sure to post pics. I ordered him through eBay and it came in two days, but the shipping was free. And no I'm not Canadian but practically. I'm from Maine
