Hey kids. I figure I better create a space before I sell most of it all off. Maybe I'll just copy and paste some things I've already posted in other locations here..maybe it'll be new pictures of what I have!

Pictures to come, stay tuned true believers!

This was occupying my time (and still is!) around the time this post was made!

This picture was taken after I moved my shelf to its current location. Some things didn't make the move, and the movies/TV series are there just because. Top shelf is all Optimus Prime (with one Optimal Optimus and Orion Pax thrown in), the second shelf is Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime (with MP10 handing over the Matrix), the third shelf is Megatron and Galvatron, the 4th is Bumblebee and Grimlock (with Alternators Jazz thrown in), and the lower shelf is the CHUG mass (everything G1 S1/TF:TM that was out until then) with spill-over of various figures onto the floor. All of that doesn't include the rest of my Alternators, and all of my G1 with the exception of Galvatron, Rodimus Prime, Hot Rod, and Optimus Prime. I have since toned things down, and continue to do so. Eventually I hope to have one nice detolf, and that's it.

I'm glad you liked the invite. I figured I'd send one along to the people I connect with and then others will find their way here too :KREMZEEK: Cary beat us all, with his Monkees LP

Good old Metroplex. He does need something to do. Maybe he can help me organize better? Updated pictures coming today. I think I have a few of each shelf by itself, they may not be as old (around a year). I also have one of what it looks like today, which is significantly less items!

Also, I think my goal is going to be keep my G1 Optimus Prime (regular and Powermaster), G1 Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime, G1 Megatron and Galvatron, TRU MP01 Optimus Prime and MP05 Megatron, TRU MP10 Optimus Prime and XTB Apollyon, and then pick up DX9 Carry and Tyrant. That would make a very nice detolf. I'll probably keep Combiner Wars Megatron and Optimus Prime, and get the add-on kits for both (Beelzeboss for Optimus and DX9 for Megatron) to have the "modern" versions. I'm not sure if I want to keep my TRU MP9 Rodimus Prime if I'm going to get Carry, or scratch that and get Takara MP09 for accurate colors. It's tough. Real tough.

Loving the minimalist approach going on here. Although there is something to be said about the fun of a loaded shelf as well!

LOL, elevators be JAMMin :-D

That minimalist approach is tough. I've got so much, but no space!

I go away for a week, and the Transformers world blows up! I'm pretty happy that I cancelled my Quakewave pre-order a few months ago, and I also ended up cancelling my DX9 Carry order thanks to the MP announcements from Takara!! Shockwave and Hot Rodimus. Crazy awesome. I really wouldn't mine parting ways with my TRU MP Rodimus Prime for the Takara MP09 now!!

So apparently crazy things happened on the boards!

Recapping my deleted posts:

Picked up AoE Galvatron for $5 at Five Below the other day, and he is an awesome little figure! A voyager of THIS guy would be appreciated.

And then, I picked this guy up and he came in Tuesday! I think I'm going to send him back though. As much as I love Mazda (especially Mazda's built in Japan like my 3 and Miata) and the RX-8, I feel that my Shock(wave)blast does a better job.

Dat Galvy has a pretty sick paint job. Speaking of, how do you feel about the new TR Galvatron?

So I just realized that Optimal Optimus and TFCC Lio Convoy have similar design elements (wheels on the back, blast shield forearm things, pretty colors) when I was getting LC ready for his journey to the Collect-o-tron.

I snapped this pic of "father and son", or something along those lines last night.

It also made me realize how much I love Optimal Optimus. He's got a bunch of play value and posability for a 16+ year old figure (1998/1999, right?)! I picked him up with my dad, and I'd say he got the collecting bug re-started for me. Lots of memories this week, dad died 11 years ago Monday and this figure brings back one of the myriad of great times we had in my world of Transformers.

Yeah he does! Why didn't the voyager look that good?!

Titan Wars Galvatron is an insta-buy for me. I'll probably pre-order somewhere just to guarantee I get him! Anxiously awaiting DX9 D07 Tyrant. Hopefully they'll send out their "10 day notification" this month!!

Galvs is looking pretty good to me too. I'm a little surprised a Galvatron didn't make the robro selfie. No explanations, that'd be braking the rules

The Collect-o-tron anxiously awaits it's newest residents. :D

Cram you should run back and re-post your Shockwave pic in the challenge thread. It got eradicated during the Kremzeek purge. :( (I may be able to use my Mod powers to move it up a couple posts, so it looks like nothing ever happened.)

That is a nice little sentiment about your Dad. Sorry to hear he has left this earthly plain. My Dad passed when I was 13. Not to get too heavy, but it has a lot to do with why I collect. Holding on to what was an awesome childhood and all that.

So lots of Rods and Galvs. I'm guessing TF:TM is your fav TF time period. Are you moving your collection to mostly represent that era?

Also I noticed there are no Beast Era bots on "the list". This pleases me greatly. :-D

They are on their way sir! I'll send you the tracking :)

I did re-post the pic, so no biggie :)

I feel the same way (about collecting). Dad always told me to be me, and knew how much I loved mechanical things and electronics. We watched Transformers together a lot, and he always seemed genuinely interested/excited when I found a new figure or filled him in on the mythos. I'm sorry you lost your Dad so early, it wasn't easy at two days before my 22nd birthday, I couldn't imagine it happening sooner.

Enough of the heavy metal war!

G1 season 1 (not so much season 2, but yeah to season 3) and TF:TM are my absolute favorites. I memorized TF:TM when I was a child (from watching it countless times), and I can't tell you how many times a week I'll run through the movie in my head. Collection wise, that's where I've always wanted to focus, but then something shiny would come along and I'd be like "oooooooooh pretty".

I love Optimus and Megatron, but equally love Rodimus and Galvatron. I think I liked them even more after watching Headmasters. I'm very sad that my TRU Rodimus is falling apart on his backpack hinge of all places. BUT, I think I've renewed my love for Energon Galvatron :-D
