Thanks to Burn for giving me the idea to do this! :)

So this is a little brief photo shoot and history thing of my past and present Transformers collections! It's a very small collection since I am a starting out collector, but these were spread over a few years.

#1. My first few years:

These are the little remains of my old TF toys from 2005 to 2008.

I had TF Cybertron Scout Armorhide, TF Cybertron deluxe Optimus (recolor of Armada deluxe Prime), Classics deluxe Cliffjumper, two Cybertron Scout class Clockers (only the weapons remain sadly), and part of a minicon I can't remember the name to.
Image

#2. Years in Costa Rica:

So when I was in Costa Rica, I got some transforming robot toys, though none of these are official toys. I guess I could say they're "knockoffs".

I got a Road-Bot Toyota Celica (blue guy), a fairly re-tooled knockoff Armada Megatron, and some knockoff Energon Star Saber guys (both with broken off left legs).

Image

Image

...and they both fall down.

Image

#3. 2013 to 2014:

During this time I finally started to get official Transformers again... along with a Road-Bot knockoff again.

Right here is my Road-Bot Harley Davidson motorcycle TF knockoff-ish thing, a Generations deluxe Armada Starscream (Decepticon symbols were removed to make more "comic accurate"), and a torn up and really weird looking AoE deluxe High Octane Bumblebee. The reason why he is so weird looking is because he was actually my very first attempted custom. Since I never really cared for that toy much, I felt it was fine to try something new, so I tried to do a zombie Bumblebee. :-P Well, at least it looks dead!

Image

And #4. My latest late 2014 to late 2015 figures:

So here I have Generations voyager Springer, and Combiner Wars Dragstrip. I hope to get more soon!

Final full collection pic:

I hope anyone finds my collection interesting! Even though I do not have very many, at least I have a unique selection! :D

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for sharing and cool back stories to boot ;)^

Yup we all started somewhere. It was WFC Bee that got me hooked again. Then bots slowly trickled in until the flood gates got kicked open.

And then the flood that is now RiD minicons came forth!

And Silly, didn't mention this last night, but nice custom! I have never done a custom save a little big of silver or black sharpie where need be, and you did a nice job on undeadBee there :BOT:

Nah, the mini-cons were just an after shock of the Combiner Wars tsunami.

But they are adorable and cute as a button too. And nice little boosters to the collections. :BOT:

I like it. This collection is great bc of the stories that accompany them. It's cool to hear about where someone was or how a figure was obtained. Keep it up and stay golden, Silly. :D

Nice job Silly ;)^

I'm trying to remember where I started.... I grew up with TF's, but when I started collecting :-? I dunno. I got a job when I was 14, and spent every dollar (I was allowed) on toys  . And at the time, my beloved Beast Machines were gracing the shelves. But as far as collector pieces go, I think the first thing I bought was an MP01. I was 19. God I'm old #-o

Haha thanks guys! I'm hoping to jump-start my collecting again soon when funds get better.

Thanks! It actually is not the best to me, but for an undead Transformer I think it kinda sorta works. I think since I've lost a few pieces to it, it may look even better than before as an undead Bot. I have a bit of purple in a couple spots that I was trying to use to simulate dark energon but it didn't work the best. I mostly used sharpies.

Update: I am actually highly considering doing more customizing on that "ZomBee" (Zombie Bumblebee). I actually found some paint that went to an old model airplane I never put together, that might work perfectly for adding some worn effects! :D I want the car mode to look extra junky, so I want to do some "airbrushing" effects (not actual airbrushing, but the cheaper alternative, which is tapping the paint brush with a tiny bit of paint on the surface you are painting). I think it'll work nicely!

OH btw I just noticed that in the proper lighting, the wheels on High Octane Bumblebee look like they actually have painted rims, but only painted with nearly invisible gun metal colored paint. Weird huh? The only time they paint the rims it's with invisible paint. :-P

I managed to hunt down Special Ops Jazz on the Bay of E.

Bay for E, E for Bay. :-P

Hey bruh! I found 3 Cybertron Ultra Class Jetfires on Transformerland for the prices of modern Leader classes! http://www.transformerland.com/store/tr ... tra-class/ Man do you know how nostalgic this thing is to me? Back when I was like 5 or 6 years old, I got Cybertron Scout Armorhide. In the package, there was a little sheet of paper that advertised other Transformers toys. One of the ones in there was Ultra class Jetfire. I wanted him so bad you have no idea. I have always loved bombers. I hope I can get this guy sooner than later.

Funny your experience with Jetfire is really similar to my experience with Sky Shadow, his Decepticon repaint. He also continues to elude me.

Also Armada Starscream and Springer are definitely two of my favorite Generations figures from the last few years.

Agreed! :D They are awesome. I am so happy they used Starscream's Gen Armada toy's design so much in the recent comics.

The Cybertron line is so nostalgic to me. I can't actually remember exactly wether it was Jetfire or Sky Shadow that I was always crying for since they look so similar, but I recognize that cargo plane so well as the one. It was either Sky Shadow or Jetfire.

Cybertron Menasor was another one of my wants from the Cybertron line that was on the little catalog-thingy. I remember looking at all of the toys and picking out the ones I wanted. And I don't think I got any of them. :( It was at the end of Cybertron when I got into Transformers so the first movie and Animated lines are my big nostalgic lines.

Yeah Animated is what got me back into Transformers.

Also, remember Scout class Clocker from the Cybertron line? Well, I used to have two of those back in the day. So nostalgic. I want to have him again. That car mode was amazing.

Yeah I still have the Swerve repaint. At least I'm pretty sure it was Swerve. He's a neat scout class. I just remembered I have two Undermines. Now that's a cool dino mode.

Yeah it was Swerve.

Even though I HATE the Cybertron show (mostly because of Kicker), the toys are so nostalgic and awesome to me.

Yeah Undermine looks awesome. I never had the toy, but I always wanted him when I would look at the sheets of paper that came with the figures with images of other toys from the same line. Didn't those papers have little check-boxes next to the toys? Aww man so awesome.

Back in the day, I was one of the first members of these boards to get MP01 when he came out.... and I was 23! Or maybe 24, it was a long time ago. So no, you aren't old.

Silly, my "adult" collection started out as a shoebox full of old broken g1 toys I found while clearing out my stuff from my parents house when I moves out. Beast Wars Transmetals had just hit the shelves at the time, and BWTM Rhinox became my first collection n purchase.

Interesting. I have a couple g1 figures that I am wanting to get eventually.

Here's a question for all of you: What Transformers line is most nostalgic to you? For me, it's Transformers Cybertron. (I hated the show, but loved the toys.)
