Holy! Love the oldies you have there!
Say, how do you like the Robot Masters Starsaber and Lio? I've been thinking about squiring those lately... :-?

I like them. A good substitute for the old Victory guys what with the cost, but even then the RM guys aren't cheap. I was just lucky to get them second hand, at $40 a piece. Victory Leo came first and that was at least 5 or 6 years ago, and then I found Star Saber just last month. So yeah I'd say if the original Star Saber and Victory Leo are out of your range, the RM guys work too. Just maybe be careful of the pegs on Victory Leo that plug into Star Sabers back for their combination, one on mine started to bend a little

If by Lio you meant Lio Convoy though, again I like him, but since I bought him used, one of his forepaws in Beast Mode has a little wearing on the ball joint so he sleeps. Still, for $80 for complete just no box, it's not a bad price. Especially considering I saw one with no accessories or anything for the same price recently, I feel I got a deal

I've got more oldies to eventually take pictures of, just not with me in my apartment, including an in box MachTackle from Victory. The box and instructions are a little water damaged from the original seller, and I have taken him out a few times to play with, but the guys themselves are in great shape with all their accessories

Neat. Hows the posability with them separately and combined?

Sorry no, I meant RM Victory Leo. I have three White/Black/Flash Lio Convoy's and while I love Convoys and Beast Wars in general, I don't have much love for this mold. I have the RM LIO Convoy, which is better but still not my favorite.

The movement range is limited, especially with Victory Leo since his midsection and lower body are pretty much a block. Star Saber has a bit more, so you can do some posing, but when combined it's a little awkward with the big feet. Being able to combine into their suped up jet is a nice touch, and I don't know if it's just mine or not but the sword hilt/cockpit is a pain to stay on. I'd still say go for them though, just avoid the KO's

I had debated getting the RM one since a place near where I live had one, but I wasn't sure on it

There's KO's of these two RM's?
Thanks for the info. I'll probably try and hunt them down ;)

Well, if you like the character, I'd recommend him. I don't think he was terribly expensive, and was reissued a year ago.

Yup. When I was desperate for a RM Star Saber so long ago to go with my Victory Leo, I bought a KO Victory Saber from a line called Quickchange Robot. Obviously the quality was poor, and Star Saber's Brainmaster module was molded right into the body, so no Brainmaster gimmick. Also the projectile for Victory Leo's gun was molded in too, so it can't be fired

...and here it is

I'll have to see how much it was, I forgot lol

Thanks. I try to get at least one from each series that I can (so far Machine Wars is the only one I can recall not having anything from, outside of Con and Club exclusives, and Titans Return obviously)

I've recently acquired BWII Galvatron and the 2003 reissue of Sixtrain (or the Hasbro Micromaster Rail Racer, can't easily tell) so pics of them will be going up sometime in the future

EDIT: Here they are
