I kind of like the look of the two pack Cyclops better but I don't want the Dark Phoenix figure. Hmm, decisions, decisions. I've thought about doing that a couple times, but haven't gotten around to it.

I picked up one TF at Steel City Con today. At first I was just gonna post what it was but let's play a guessing game.

It came out between 2000 and 2010 and is a little out of left field. I have mentioned my nostalgia for this toy in the collection thread of a fairly well-known poster. After 3 good guesses I'll give more hints.

Edit:I just thought of a good hint. It shares a name with a G1 character but it isn't anything like said G1 character.

Nope. I actually have that one and Swindle's Autobot repaint Camshaft. Again it's kind of close, if you combined aspects of both guesses you'd be almost there.

I'm racking my brain over here, but haven't even come up with good guess. Hints are pretty broad at the moment.

Yeah sorry if the hints aren't too good. I don't wanna give it away. But here's some more.

He's a Decepticon from the Unicron Trilogy. I believe Cobotron has him, granted I'm pretty sure he has all of the Cybertron line. And the thread was Sillyspringer's where I talked about it.

He caught my eye when I saw him on the Cybertron toy sheets they'd put in with the instructions. I'd been interested in one since then. I happened to be going through a bin of bagged TFs and found one for $20. It has the minicon and the key and it's in really good shape. The electronics don't seem to work though, might just need new batteries. Boy is it a fun toy. Pics to come soon.

Love that toy. The bot mode is so creepy and evil. The alt mode is kinda, whut?! but cool none the less.

Menasor is quite lovely Cobotron. I put batteries in him today but nothing was really gained. I'm so glad that the minicon was there because he's a neat little dude and Menasor is meant to be a mech in my opinion.

Yeah sorry about that D. What I was getting at was the Decepticon combining aspect of Swindle and the Cybertron mold use of Leo Prime.






Also ended up buying 8 clone troopers for the collection. All of them were less than $10 each and Waxer and Boil were nice finds.
