A Funko Pop of D.Va, a Tank class hero from Overwatch. She's my second most played hero, and the main Tank that I use.

Ah. I know some Overwatch, but clearly no where near enough!

It would appear as such. :D

Also, I'll try to post some more of my vacation pictures by the end of the week.

I'm glad you got to visit the Arizona memorial. That is a special place, and one I intend to visit someday.

Yay Swoop! My most looked forward to toy of wave 1. And like Slag, he actually looks good in both arm and leg mode, with no real preference for one over the other.

Movie Blackout and G1 Scream eh? Nice!

It's definitely a place to visit, that's for sure.

Swoop is pretty good. Not quite the best combiner limb (I'd say he rounds out the top 3 after Rook and Bluestreak), but a good figure nonetheless. I do have a few problems with him, but they're mostly QC.

I'm pretty sure that the other plane was an F-16 (Skydive), though I'm not completely sure.

Also, there wasn't one at the museum, but I did see F-22s flying around on a few occasions throughout the trip, so I got to see all three of my favorite planes (F-15, F-16, and F-22).

How is she? I'll start hunting her next month.

BTW, what do you think of the Steelers recently? And that Patriots loss last night?

My boy Boswell finally made the Killer B's list too!!

The only thing preventing her from being my unquestioned favorite legends class is the raptor arms in bot mode.

My observations:
1. I'm glad that the offense has finally hit its stride. If we want to beat New England next week, we're gonna need to have another game like that.
2. The Raiders called. They want their Swiss cheese secondary back. Hopefully Haden will be able to come back next week.
And yeah, the Wizard of Boz definitely deserves a place among the Killer B's. The man's kicked what, four game-winning field goals now?
And that Patriots loss last night?

Never saw the movie, but I did go on the ride at Disney World. For the first five minutes, it was pretty good, but at the very end, two Carnotaurs came out and jumpscared the crap out of everyone. Ever since, I have despised them with every fiber of my being.

Also, I went to the premier of The Last Jedi last night, so I figured I'd share my thoughts on it. Overall, it was a good movie (definitely better than TFA, which I was not a fan of), but not quite on the level of ESB or RO. I did have a few issues with the movie though (extreme spoilers ahead):

Despite all of the teasing and mystery surrounding Rey's parents, they turn out to be random scavengers who sold her for drink money.

At one point in the movie, Poe Dameron attempts to stage a mutiny because he believes that Admiral Holdo (the acting commander of the Resistance after Leia becomes comatose) doesn't have a plan and is leading them to die. Turns out, she does have a plan (going to an old Rebel base on Crait), and if she had just told Poe about it instead of being secretive, the attempted mutiny could have been avoided.

Snoke was hyped up as a powerful and wise master of the Dark Side before this movie, and while he is powerful (he throws Rey around his throne room like a ragdoll), he certainly didn't seem wise. He was extremely cocky, and while reading Kylo Ren's mind, he determined that Ren was going to kill his "true enemy", which Snoke assumed to be Rey. Somehow, he failed to notice Ren using the Force to turn Anakin's lightsaber (which Snoke had set on a table next to him) and kill him with it. The scene itself looked pretty cool, but it puzzles me why Snoke didn't catch on to Kylo's deception, since he was reading his mind at the time.

And my least favorite thing about the movie is that THEY FREAKING KILLED ACKBAR.

POTP Grimlock.jpg

Volcanicus.jpg

I didn't expect much from Volcanicus, but the torso is surprisingly stable. My only issue with Volcanicus are the legs, which are kinda loose.

As for Grimlock himself, he's also quite good. The robot mode is great (especially if you have a spare FOC Grimlock sword lying around), the colors are spot on, and the only loose section is the waist. The T-Rex mode (not pictured here), on the other hand, sucks. The legs are way too small, and make him look like he's dragging his stomach across the ground at all times. The tail isn't as bad in person, but it's still annoyingly big.

7/10

Yeah. Why do Inferno, El1ta, and Starscream get weapons but Grimlock and Hun-Gurrr don't get any?

Just finished opening all of my Christmas presents. Overall, I'm pretty happy with everything I got:
Assorted Pittsburgh Steelers merchandise
Fort Max
Trypticon
Overwatch Mei Nendoroid
Unfortunately, Mei's display stand was broken out of the box, so there's nothing I can do there but have Amazon exchange her. Maximus and Trypticon, on the other hand, turned out really well (aside from me being stupid and thinking that Tryp's arms were misassembled). Overall, this was a really great Christmas.

After a long absence, the Pretty Neat Thread is back online. I've gotten some pretty cool stuff since I last posted here:
Mei Nendoroid (the one that I got on Christmas was broken out of the package, so I had to exchange it for a new one)
POTP wave 1 deluxes
Studio Series Grimlock
POTP Battletrap
CW Shockwave (my original one mysteriously disappeared, so I had to get another one to replace it)

While I don't have pictures of any of those, I do have some of my newest figure (which, if I remember correctly, is also my first 3rd party figure ever): Iron Factory Sunstorm!

I'm really liking this little guy so far. Plastic quality is good, joints are nice and tight, and he even has ankle tilts, wrist swivels, and a waist swivel! At this point, the only negative I have is that he has a black head instead of a bronze-ish head like the Hasbro MP, but that's a minor complaint, and I don't think many people would agree with my deco preference. Overall, I give him a 9/10.

I keep himhawing over Iron Factory. Still don't own a 3P bot yet, but Iron Factory seems to have some great stuff!
