Mykltron's Collection

There are no limited editions or rare figures here (unless you count my kitbashes) but it's my collection and I love it! If you want to know the history of my collecting read on, if you don't just scroll down for the pics.

I started collecting in 85 when my parents gave me Hound for Christmas. The last TF I bought in that era was a Seacon and I was frustrated with lack of articulation so I stopped collecting but continued to read the comics until well into the Pretender era. Sadly my comics have all been lost but the toys survived (except for Beachcomber) despite nagging from my parents to get rid of them.

With the internet not really existing and not being much of a TV watcher Generation 2 passed me by but when Beast Wars came along I bought a few figures but didn't have access to the show.

TFs continued their lives without me until I rediscovered them by accident during the Classics era and then the addiction really began. For the first time in many years I had small amounts of money to spare and was able to watch the shows and import figures thanks to the internet. I began tracking down the figures I'd missed and wanted and eventually joined Seibertron so I could plan, feed and nurture my addiction months ahead of retail!

Here are the pictures. Most of them can be viewed in larger resolution by right clicking and selecting 'view image'.

Thanks!

These pics were taken mid-November 2010 so obviously, with birthday and Christmas, I've added a few more since then. I need to put up a new shelf so they can have some elbow room so maybe I'll take fresh pics when I've done that.

Looks great! I like how you have enough space that it doesn't look like a jumbled mass of robot limbs and car parts like mine. XD

I have to third this. :D

I was browsing your customs site this morning, then stumbled onto here.
I am very very impressed by the dedication and care you have for these figures!
(Also really jealous of Steve (the Vehicon). Where did you get him and Prime Ratchet?)

As soon as I move later this month, I will properly update my own collection thread.

From a Seibertronian in America. He just emailed me one day and offered to send me some figures. I've also got Knock Out, but I haven't opened him yet.

Where are you moving to? Are you staying in the same town?

I'm moving five minutes down the road. Image

I've had enough of housesharing, and since I'm starting my PhD in October and got a fully funded studentship for it, I decided to splash out and get a studio flat. With lots and lots of shelves. ;)

Still waiting for the PRiD waves to hit the UK.
I know Ratchet's out there somewhere, just not anywhere around Norwich.

(Started updating my collection thread, too!)

I noticed! Is RTS Jazz moonwalking?
And Mirage is getting punched in the face by Soundwave.

It's those little touches that seal the deal, for me.

As for Argos, didn't we hear the rumour from Hasbro that the FoC line would be Argos exclusive?

Er... he's doing what ever you want to see him doing!

Did we? I don't think I did. That would be good news, except of course that we'll be stuck with wave 1 for six months.

Fear not, I won't forget - I like to show off my work.

His shoulders aren't good but his legs are fantastic - better than any preceding MP.

Yeah, totally missed it. I'm thinking you could give him a nice shinny G2-esque paint job, just like your TF:P FE BB. That would be cool.
