Now I see it!

I look forward to eventually getting some prints. Burcham does such a good job and I have soooooo many of his art works saved to my phone from Twitter. I would definitely love a Roche or Milne work as well since I love those both. Durocher would not be far behind them either

Hey, you still have my TFNation offer open... go check the Sins thread for what Nick is working on!

Alex is also at the con. Sara's easier from your side of the pond, admittedly.

Oh, I haven't forgot about that! I've been watching the Twitter feeds for the new prints and I really enjoy Milne's 5 right now. He has that Megatron petting Ravage (sob), Nautica, Rodimus with the Firestar hair (     ). I've been thinking!

Those - alas - are commissions. :(

Not sure Milne has any new stuff, actually. But that Roche Mayhem one... mmmmmayhem.

Well damn :(

But that is a sweet Mayhem piece. If I got a print done, I feel like I'd go with Trailcutter (obviously), Sideswipe, Nautica or Brainstorm or some combination of the 4 (I wonder if Prints can be done using combiners...)

Do you mean commission? Prints are mass-printed pieces created by the artist, either based on cover art or made from scratch. Commissions are custom sketches (inks and colours optional), much like my AB collection - Burcham's was printed because he works digitally.

I saw a really good Traildude somewhere, but I can't remember the author...

I don't know what I mean right now, head's fried.

Print: cheaper option, everyone gets the same thing, Nick Roche (with Josh Burcham) has done the MTMTE cast for the past couple of Auto Assembly events. See here or here.

Commission: more expensive, you get to ask a character/pose, usually done pen/pencil/ink on paper unless artist is digital only (like Burcham or Sarah Stone). See all of my Alpha Bravo pieces.

Ah, got it now.

But, going in this direction, imagine a combiner made of Trailcutter, Sideswipe, Brainstorm, Nautica and someone else (maybe Astrotrain as the torso?)!! That would be an awesome one

I like to think that Furos/Duros is actually a bit of a jerk. May be inspired by Saltinel Prime in the current IDW Titans Return fiction, just with much less supremacist ..stuff.

In any case, we went for a wander today.

Ha! Thanks! :D

Outdoors photography takes some doing, but you eventually just feel comfortable enough. And it's an excellent icebreaker too.
