We might have something to say about it if Megasteel actually released anything...

 That's true first Soundwave and now what could be Blaster getting dropped , it's a shame as i would have bought both .

It's no big loss if the Mega Steele version never gets released. It was too similar in scale to the UT version anyways.

Now,Had Mega Steele created a Blaster that was in scale with the MP Soundwave robot mode. It would have offered a different scale than the UT Blaster. Then this would be a big loss not to get this released.

I know i'm in the minority here. I not interested in either. I'm waiting for the HasTak MP Blaster toy. Or at least i'll wait for a 3rd party version that is in scale with MP Soundwaves robot mode.

I did a bit more online research on the Mega Steel Blaster toy. Some import sites are reporting that the robot mode is 18cm. Which tranlates into 7.1 inches tall.

So the Mega Steel Blaster is almost a inch taller than UT Blaster. As UT blaster is around 6.3 inches in robot height.

I gotta admit the 7.1 inch bigger robot height is my prerred height. As the 1985 Blaster toy was around this height. Maybe a bit taller.

I like the more beefy sculpting on Mega Steel Blaster. I like the more bulkier radio kibble parts visble in both modes.

I'm just wondering if Mega Steele Blaster can hold 1980's TF G-1 Cassettes in his cassette holder. If yes,Than the Mega Steele Blaster I think is the better 3rd party Blaster Radio-bot toy.

Has the Mega Steele Blaster toy been cancelled? I hope not,as I think its the superior version compared to the UT Blaster toy.

Will I be buying Mega Steele Blaster or UT Blaster? No, But I just think it'll be a shame for some not to get the chance to buy the superior Mega Steele Blaster toy, compared to the inferior UT Blaster toy version.

if there is no Mega Steele Blaster, surely UT Blaster is by default the superior one?

Isn't it also, by default, the inferior one? 8-}

(I do that all the time with my only son. Depending on his behavior for the day I tell him that he is my best or worst son. I'm a terrible father!! :BOOM: )

I bought mine from The Chosen Prime (Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Chos ... n=timeline) (Website: http://www.thechosenprime.com/) and I love it.

He's the best Blaster since G1. All of those redecos/remolds? Bah. This guy is gorgeous in hand, he's high quality and he's far more solid than most official releases have been in recent years.

There are pictures of Soundmixer with KFC cassettes around him, and while they don't fit in his chest, they look fantastic with him.

Now, onto The Chosen Prime. Without a doubt, the best US e-tailer experience I've ever had. Polite, packs well, ships FAST (SAME DAY!), and he picked out one of the best case specimens I've ever seen. The box was flawless. Please, please, go and check out his site, you won't regret it!

Free shipping for orders $150.00 and over, plus $5.00 off your first order with the code "forum", plus every $150.00 you spend, you get a $5.00 certificate good towards a future purchase. Oh...and no penalty preorders, plus you don't have to pay up front!

If you order a bunch of pre-orders to get over $150, do you know if they hold them and ship them as one order? Their shipping on individual items is ridiculously high.

Are you sure you're seeing the correct price? My Soundmixer shipped for $6.50 including tracking.

But, yes, they do a POL/Order Stacking kind of thing, it's called Roller's Stash.

I looked, there was no option to my zip code for less than $14(tried ordering the Iron Factory set for Grimlock).

I'll check out the Stash option.

The character is a good idea, but I don't think the designs really pulled off Blaster's iconic look. They certainly grabbed some features of him, but every time I look at him I keep thinking "That is the sick emancipated version of Blaster." I am hoping that Blaster will get the MP treatment down the road.

This guy came in the post this morning, and he's missing his bloody gun/tape! :BOOM: I bought him off EBay and have asked the seller for a replacment piece, no reply as of yet. Has anyone else had this issue? And what are Unique Toys customer services like should I get no joy from the seller?

I'm trying to hold off on buying this. I'd really like to see how MegaSteel's version turns to first to compare them.

Got mine last week, and I'm 100% happy with him.

If these guys did a Soundwave in the same size, and released their own line of tapes to fit the smaller tape scale they developed, I'd be all in.

Even if they never produce a tape or Soundwave (ML SW is pretty great, and doesn't fit tapes either), I'm still totally happy with the figure.

This is the Blaster for me!

Some extra tape would be nice

Almost forgot, here's the link to the eBay seller I used, absolute legend of a guy, sent out a replacement tape from another set no questions asked, even though it was a factory error and nothing to do with the seller. Fast shipping and very professional.

For those who owned this figure, is it worth the purchase you think? I'm looking for the tall deluxe class scale or short voyager class scale so UT and Megasteel pretty much fit my need. Somehow don't really like Megasteel's that much but still cannot decide.

Seriously this guy is a very solid toy and the perfect fit for classics, personally I don't like Megasteel's version, the design just feels a little off to me. The only issue I have had with this guy is that some of the tabs where a little too big, I shaved mine down with an exact knife and he's perfect now.

Also don't like the Mega Steel Blaster toy. Find it a weird sculpted toy in both forms. Think the sculpting in the robot thighs, hips and knees are the worst offenders.

If I had to pick a 3rd party classics Blaster toy, It would be the UT version.

Like the bigger toys, So i'll be buying the KFC Blaster toy.
