Scaleface is back with another edition of the Retro Robot Radio podcast.

Scaleface wrote:

Includes the latest news from DX9 Toys, eness, FansToys, Keith's Fantasy Club, Mastermind Creations, Mega-Steel, Play With This Too, Transforming Collections, Warbotron, XSZ and X-Transbots.

Screen shot this week is of the 1963 TV series Space Patrol.

Be sure to comment in his thread. There were a lot of great shows in the 60s, but have you ever noticed how many were related to space? What's up with that? Was there, like, some sort of space race to the moon or something going on at that time? Image

Correction: MADLAW is Function X 5, not Function X 15, as I state in the video.

Be sure to comment in his thread. I find it amazing what the creative teams out of Japan came up with way back in the infancy of TV. We may not even have Transformers without that wonderfully cheesy stuff! :APPLAUSE:

I really should just leave this message untouched as this happens so often. Now, off to watch Starchaser again. I thik it was originally presented in 3D, with those awful red and blue 3D glasses. Ah, the nostalgia....

Hasbro UK has a Survey they put up that asks fans experiences and even asks questions about 3rd party toys like your favourite Companies, or which one's you've bought off.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Hasbro_Modern_Fan_2015

I hope this does not lead to someone getting a cease and desist order slapped on them.

Thanks! Scaleface has been keeping us pretty up to date in the PWTT thread, in case you want to join in the discussion. (Skip to the last couple of pages if you want to see info about the new Kickstarter. There's a lot of muck in the middle of the previous kickstarter...) :D

There is a lot of those part metal figures about lately there is for example a Metal overscale AOE Lockdown too (ideal for fighting Leader Prime). Three 17cm/7"Inch RID-15 Warrior class toys with part metal in them. not to mention part metal AOE Optimus Prime/ Nemesis Prime - even a version with Powermaster style upgrade armour in KO form.

I do like the look of those part metal overscale AOE Dinobots though.

And the really cool thing is that the Shinebug overscale KO has just been shown in Prototype form too so hopefully the others will follow hot on their heels.

That Lockdown is too small for leader prime, he is made for the voyager (which makes sense since that was the alt mode Optimus had when they first fought).
