I guess they figure his review will inspire hundreds of sales from "on the fence" buyers. Anybody ever notice that the most popular reviewers (TJ, Emgo, Optibotimus, Peaugh) never bash any 3rd party product ? I would have nothing but good things to say too if I was getting figures for free or even at a discount...

I know of at least one reviewer who passed up a free figure because it didn't interest them and they didn't think they'd give a fair review.

The more popular reviewers tend to focus on the positives in figures, but they will point out things they don't like as well. I have seen reviews where there seemed little enthusiasm for a product, but the reviewer still said it was good, seemingly because they got given something exclusive or early, but it's not often and I just don't follow those guys work. If I feel someone is not being honest in their reviews then I'll ignore their opinion.

It's good to see Im not the only one who notices this among the reviewers. Hey, Im not knocking their hustle either. Theyre like the politicians of the TF community. But half of the time I watch a review, I usually have the toy in hand and Im using it as an "online instruction manual". Let them do the hard part of figuring it out, or break something and warn me since they got it for free and I didnt. Some reviewers dont like their videos being used as instructions and transform the figures opposite of how they were packed before they start filming. Screw those a**holes. But the ones I named usually open the box on film so I respect them. Plus lately there is alot of good stuff on the horizon so I find myself watching alot more reviews lately of figures I dont own. (yet) ;)

I've always felt that MMC is one of the few companies who offers their products for "relatively" reasonable prices, as compared to its competitors. Heck, even some of Has-Tak's "limited run" Transformers are priced more outrageously. Hexatron is definitely a steal in regards to its pricing, given the size and complexity. I feel compelled to purchase this bad boy.

I gota say, there are definitely things about this figure I'm not super into. The gaps above the feet, the length of the wings in jet mode, and the hind legs on the wolf mode... all seem like they coulda been a bit better.
But for the price point, character, and what really IS there, this is definitely amazing. Stoked to get it.

I'm loving it, even though I do have a few nitpicks. I guess I would rather see white than the slight purple, but I can also live with it too. What bugs me more...shouldn't the wings in plane mode and that stick up from his back in bot mode be the white or purplish-grey? Again, this isn't enough to keep me from being excited about it, but...

I'm happy with those colours. Very happy. I'm really looking forward to finally owning some sort of Sixshot figure.

Why does every piece of artwork for this seem to depict him with different stabby things?

so that's it for now, will have part 2 soon, the part 2 will have wolf mode, Robot, and the hidden mode, well, I`m not talking about wing-wolf mode, I am talking about the 8th mode. yes, Hexatron is some how 8-change for me...

back to the show info.
so there's some Toys in my booth, which just private things, and put price here will be not fair as news.
so here's is what offer I have for you guys.
From Mech Ideas, They just ship me some twins for good price,
DC-01 Apex & DC-02 Geminus. well...you may pay almost 70 a pair and need to pay shipping, right? so if you live in bay area, and come over to the show, how about same price as online store mark? no way, you pay the show ticket, so $65. $65 is what you pay for, a direct offer from Mech Ideas.
From Mastermind Creation.
still have last couple piece of their KM-X for sale, and of course a good price, and some Awaking Airbone.
and you think why display the Hexatron? of course, if you want to pre-order it, and love to pick up at bay area, well ,you know, I love local, love local people love transformers. so you will have a good price that you can order, and pick up local. and what I can tell is, YOU CAN SURE SAVE THE TICKET MONEY, AND THE SHIPPING! Good enough? just come over and check that out, and more surprise on the booth, well...I don't have the booth number yet, but I can be so sure, there's only ONE Hexatron display at the San Jose Toy Show. so see you guys this weekend, and will be back with more pic for part 2.

I hope so. If that's the reissue, then this thing is even more monstrous than I thought. I'm going to need a garage to hold this thing. Also, the guy holding it in gun mode must be very popular with the ladies. Look at the size of his hands!!

At any rate, I think the only smaller Sixshot that makes sense is the WST. Given a normal size human hand, the size comparison should be about right. That still makes Hexatron huge, in my opinion.

yeah, IIRC there were pics of him standing shoulder to shoulder with MP Grimlock. the back wings might make Hexy a bit bigger overall, and considering the relative complexity of each's tranformations, I definitely feel I'm getting my money's worth with this guy.

I remember handling Hexatron in hand and it is about the size of Movie Leader Prime, so not that big.

We’d like to give you an update on our progress and thank you for your ongoing support and understanding. You’re amazing.

R-01 Terminus Hexatron is in full production. However there are some delays due to an expected issue in one of the mold blocks. While we are committed to getting your order completed as soon as possible, we are more dedicated to shipping a quality product. Our team has been working hard 24/7 for the past few months and we are right on track.

Fortunately the mold issue is not critical but just takes some time to fix. We expect the delivery date will be postponed to end of May. (not too bad heh?)

We really do appreciate your patience and encouragement on this amazing journey, and as always, you are the best!

MMC team

Awww I'm so eager to get this :( Oh well. Rather a fixed product that's late than an early broken one.

Hey, it's a box!

I'm in agreement with MMC's decision to postpone shipping out a flawed product. It shows commitment to their product and their customers. I wish (if possible) that companies would be a little bit more forthcoming when delays are expected instead of allowing the known ship dates to pass with no official response. I'd rather my $130 - $135 be spent on a quality product instead of a lackluster one.

And with the Bovis statement, I expected shipment to be June or later so this is in line with my expectation (except I was under the assumption that Talon would be first).

Talon would have been first, but MMC also had some issues with the mold. So, they had to redesign it.

I wonder if those are the final colors? I'd still prefer white or the light grey for the wings over his head, but the blue is nice too.

Now, ship already!!
