No new stuff in a while, Do 3rd parties plan to sell them first at the summer conventions.

So many of the bigger 3rd party figures have a June, July, August summer release. Just wondering if these 3rd party companies plan to make these the centerpiece main attractions at there dealers tables at some conventions.

None of the USA based Import sites want to sell Clondroid Sixshot. This companies best option is to get rid of some at those Summer conventions.

Kronos seems like it's been ready for weeks. Thinking Deca plans to sell it at Botcon first. If not Botcon then maybe at TFcon.

Don't know what's going on with BTS Nova Lord. Hoping it gets released soon. Speculating if BTS plans to first sell it at TFcon in Canada or at Botcon. Hoping BTS attends TFCON and at least gives a release date and progress info on Nova Lord.

Some of those 3rd party Megatron toys like SSL Vetron and Gladius have a Summer release date.

I'm still behind on the 3rd party stuff I want. I welcome this down time.

Maybe they've wised up to the fact that not everyone wants to blow through their cash all at once?

Same here.

I've been able to pick up a few pieces that I was on the fence about, like Orion, Bii and Maniaking (I'll be getting that last one soon) because of the downtime.

Things had been coming out at a rapid pace for a while.

I'm with some of the others here, let there be a lull in products! There's so many to choose from, and unless you're staunchly against 3rd party or you have way too much disposable income, there seems to be no way to keep up.

To address your question, I don't think most companies are waiting for the summer conventions to sell their product. Likely, companies are creating as much output as fast as possible and some of the "larger" or more desirable products have suffered from various delays to date. Take BTS' Overlord, that was originally scheduled for a March 2014 release and we haven't heard anything new about it since... last summer?

You can look at the Kronos thread for details about the time frame for his release. It hasn't been ready for weeks, there were still issues which needed to be addressed and then he gets shipped out ASAP.

It's more of a rarity that a 3P meets posted release dates, and since they aren't huge companies with years of production experience... it's just not reasonable to believe that there is a set schedule to release products.
