BBTS Preorder is up:

It's cool, and I still want one, but I'm not sure it is $30 cool.

The prices for these smaller accessory pieces seem to be getting out of hand.
Something like this should be $15 ... $20 tops.

Hoping and waiting for MP-20 Wheeljack to get KO'd. Rather pay $35 with shipping fees than pay $75 plus $7 in shipping fees for the Takara version.

Either way, I'm not waiting a year plus for the Hasbro TRU Version. Due to Hasbro MP Prowl costing $70. Why wait when I can buy the KO or the Takara version.

Agreed! At $30, it's about half the price of what I'm paying for a Wheeljack. Not that I don't buy expensive upgrade kits and add-ons, but I guess I'll just have to pass on this one.

Isn't there an Immobilizer coming with MP Exhaust?

Yes, but it does not appear to have any moving/changeable parts.

But if you apply the $30 you save by NOT buying this towards MP Exhaust, those couple moving bits seem a lot less important. At least they do to me.

This blows the one that comes with Exhaust out of the water. The official one with Exhaust doesn't look like the source material.

Wait, does anybody honestly care that much about this? It appeared in, like, 1 episode. A dumb as hell episode IIRC. It's just another dumb "device of the week"- there were some things that only appeared once that warrent an accessory (Prime's axe, Megatron's flail). This is not one of them. Certainly not worth $30. You could probably scratch build this thing out of lego and styrene.

Apparently, there are.

As I stated before, I love accessories like this that appeared in just an episode. It is fun stuff just to have spread around a display, or for a character like Wheeljack, in a toolkit.

My only problem here is the pricetag. I agree that $30 is too much, and that the Immobilizer that comes with Exhaust is a little weak. But given that I'm getting Exhaust anyway, the one that comes with him will be good enough for my purposes.

Reading a couple of your posts the G1 animation is not your cup of tea.. so why are you bothered who cares about this?

The point is all these type of accessory's add a lot of fun to us collectors who care enough about "dumb" episodes and wheeljack and his "dumb" inventions . it's just a bit of fun .

Same with BadCube Brawn & Outback and all the "dumb" accessorys they come with there just nice little add-ons to display with .

I'm just baffled anyone would want to pay $30 for this. If it was $15, or made or diecast, then maybe. But as it happens it's $30 for a single plastic accessory that's already getting an "official" release- as a freebie with a whole MP figure!

If it was something like the Shockblast Cannon (which at least has value as a weapon to give to any compatible figure) or a toolbox, like what Dr Wu is doing, I'd understand. But this seems like an awfully niche piece, and an overpriced one at that.

If more people thought like that then the MP line would collapse and you'd pay far more forma 3rd party version.
Also my wife got both true seeker exclusives for about fifty a piece. Maybe you should look into coupons.

On topic these gadgets would do better if sold as a set for maybe forty bucks but alone that's too many boxes for me to store lol!

I did the same for the seekers. The TRU 20% off coupons rock!

I LOVE your idea of the accessory gift set.
I would happily pay $40 for a pile of accessories, especially for Wheeljack, but the current pricing will keep me from buying.

I bought the Dr Wu cannons for the Datsuns because it was cheaper to do that than get the exclusives with the official Takara cannon. That was a good deal!

Years ago When Walmart Sold MP Starscream, I remember buying it for under $50, Think the price was $39.99.

Cashed in on that clearance deal Walmart Had and Bought a MP Skywarp for $15

Did use a few of those TRU 20% off coupons years ago to get a MP Rodimus and MP Grimlock for cheaper.

When I ordered MP-10 Optimus on TRU.Com, The site was having a 25% off sale, So I got in on that.

Their was no on-line sale When I ordered MP Prowl.

Not interested in buying any of those Green or Yellow seekers. Already have 1984 the First Three MP seekers . What i'm interested in buying is all Three MP Cone head seekers if HasTak ever makes them.

That's the problem precisely.
