Yet more repaints coming from Keiths Fantasy Club.

Here we have a repaint of their Not-Perceptor with a much needed teal coloured makeover but of more interest is their take on Shockwave.
Old one eye comes with his signature arm cannon, purple deco and just like their recent Not-Soundwave/Ratbat release, these two repaints are being sold together as a set!

The feet and the chest on Shockwave throw me off. I'm not interested in Perceptor, but if I get some good shots of Shockwave, I might consider it.

Perceptor, Soundwave, Blaster, and Shockwave don't all look the same. Magnigicus and even Scalpel I can see. But enough already. Why not make a problem-free re-release of Magnificus and Perceptor instead?

Not sure why they are forcing the two-packs, but yeah the more accurate colored Perceptor is still a slap in the face to those who had the courage to purchase the original, QC riddled version with not so great colors.

Ummm... thankfully I was not one of those people. I just have some of the Rhinohorn cassettes. I hope KFC's products get better, but right now it's feeling a bit more like cashing in on the consumer than actually providing a quality product.

And it is a total slap in the face to those that bought the original not-quite-right-colored Perceptor version.

The figure does make a decent Perceptor, but not with a remold I have no interest in.

If someone happens to be interested in one of the other versions (shockwave or blaster) I might split the cost. PM me if you are.

Do we think the QC on these will be improved, or will they still feel like crap in-hand?

If there were any assurance of quality at all (and there isn't at this juncture), I could see myself going for the Shockwave 2-pack. I am ashamed.

I've been wondering the same thing. I don't think too many people have posted their thoughts on either the Soundwave or Scalpel yet, but with some positive reviews I would imagine that future releases like these 3 would follow along with the same fixes.

There are better things to spend my money on, like the UT Blaster that I've already heard good things about from multiple sources.

I kinda like the bot mode of Shockwave. Don't like the alt modes at all. Perhaps if there was a decent fan alt mode for Shockwave...

But still, at $100 for this and a preceptor I do not want or need? I think I'll pass...
