Yet more repaints coming from Keiths Fantasy Club.

Here we have a repaint of their Not-Perceptor with a much needed teal coloured makeover but of more interest is their take on Blaster.
Boombox Blaster comes with his signature cassette deck-esque chest, red and grey deco and just like their recent Not-Soundwave/Ratbat release, these two repaints are being sold together as a set!

If these weren't paired with remolds I don't want, I'd be interested.

Oh, that and if the mold itself didn't have issues with the head, cannon, etc.

According to KFC all the issues with the Mugan mold have been fixed since Mugan Vox .

I really wanted to pick up the KFC cassettes as no other company has given them a go but reading about all the QC issues from so many people across many fansites across the majority of their products, I feel wary of picking up a Mugan Ghetto as my deluxe Blaster, let alone some cassettes, even if I could get it on sale?

Either way... I would continue to be wary of KFC.

I don't even think Citizen Stack received good reviews either eh. I would try this guy out.. but not in a two pack and definitely not at the price they are going at right now.

I'm not a fan of this Shockwave but i do like his shockgun

I actually think that Shockwave is the best executed - after Perceptor, maybe.

I do want a better Shockwave, but I do not know if this is it. Also because it's in a 2-pack with a figure I don't want.

Sorry KFTC, it could've been a sale, but now it won't be.

I wonder, is there any character KFC, er, KTC won't make with this mold? What's next? Mugan Convoy? Mugantron? Muganbee? Muganscream, Muganwarp, and Mugancracker? Muganstator?

I just have a weird feeling that eventually, it will be possible to have an entire collection of Transformers made up of nothing but recolors of this mold!

The thing I don't get is... well, if they keep making these, that must mean someone is actually buying them, right? Who? I mean, the robot modes look cool, I suppose... but I like my Transformers to have all of their modes look decent and make sense. I always thought the alt modes on this thing looked like crap. And at least what they are (even if they, as said, looked like crap) made sense for Perceptor, but not for most of these other characters.

So really, repaints with alt modes that make no sense and look like crap. Who is buying these?

Well, if they hadn't f***ed up perceptor again, I was seriously considering
the shockwave combo...

However, if they can't stay true to the box-art and renders ( where he has teal upper legs ), then even shockwave can't pursuade me.

So I guess this means for me that the first version has a date with my airbrush
to get the proper colors

Blaster was a tank in the IDW Spotlight Blaster.

Shockwave was a tank in TFPrime and the Bay movies.

So what part of that makes no sense?

Lmfao Cyc looks like pure garbage.

I'll honestly split this set when it goes on sale for whoever wants Shockwave.. I like this mold for Perceptor, but not for $50 each.

If it clearances, I might pick up the Perceptor-Shockwave 2-pack. Magnificus' felt like crap in my hand, and I sold him, but if they actually fixed the QC issues and improved the plastic quality for these newer releases, I would consider giving it another go.

This mold looks good as Soundwave, and the Scalpel looks awesome. If I bother with a Perceptor, I'm just getting the HasTak "halftrack" toy though. The Soundwave and Shockwave look good but I already have Prime Soundwave and DotM Shockwave (although one can never have enough Soundwave).
