FP at TFCon has pics and is reporting X7 is Apeface.
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transform ... eface.html
http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-new ... ow-180697/

Speculations from at looking pics. might be a Voyager-Ultra toy. Think it's definately not a deluxe Robot. Joints tech have too many ratchets and sculpting in key areas suggest It's a Voyager-Ultra toy.

If this toy is Seven+ inches tall in Robot mode & cost under $110 then I'm probably going to buy it.

If FP also creates a X Snapdragon,it's voyager-Ultra scaled and under $110. Then i'll buy it also. As both Horrorcons are a pair and I need both.

If the size is indeed what's indicated in the teaser showing 3 of them side by side, then this will indeed be Deluxe class just like all the other FP not-Headmasters (it's the one in the middle holding the 2 guns down at its sides).

Nice. FP seems to be doing well with the Headmasters. I may have to sell my Toyworld bots and stick with FP...

Guys, have you watched those transformation videos? They suggest something pretty epic.

Firstly Spasma not only transforms into Apeface's robot mode head but also makes up the bulk of his gorilla modes face.

Secondly Gort when in head mode seems to have a flip-up visor that reveals separate eyes.

Lastly Duros appears to have not only a flip-up visor, but there also seems to be a face plate that slides down into Hardhead's chest to reveal the animation accurate mouth.

We've seen it now FansProject so you'd better make it so!

Fansproject is doing it. Plain and simple. I would bank on a snapdragon too. I wouldnt be suprised if they also announce a headmaster arcee down the line just to say they did it first. Im buying all of these. Hope they are all the same height as code and maybe the horrorcons slightly bulkier for cartoon accurate height next to hasbro kup, blurr and hot rod.

Not a deal breaker is it's a deluxe toy. I'll just wait for TW As they are bound to create a Apeface update toy in my preferred Eight inch or bigger Ultra scale. As all of their headmasters are ultra scale.

In the 1987 Rebirth and Takara Japanese Headmasters cartoon episodes, The Horrorcons are shown in the Cartoon as a few size scales bigger than the Headmasters and other characters.

So wanting 3rd party Horrorcons robots to be Deluxe scale to match 3rd party regular headmasters. Goes against all of your 1980's TF cartoon scales.

Sometimes I think you just use the 1980's cartoon scales as a excuse to hate on the bigger toys because all you like to buy is the more tiny TF toys.

Normally I wouldn't care. As everyone is entitled to buy what he pleases. I take issue with you on this because not only are you a hypocrite and liar. You have ruined so many threads by harrassing, fighting and seeding threads by attacking others 20+ times in each thread here. you attack others by saying buying 3rd party or hastak toys that don't scale with the 1980's cartoon is wrong. Yet here you are today now wanting to do the oppossite.

Wouldn't making the horrorcons bigger then the rest of the toyline mean their heads need to be scaled to match? Thus robbing them of the ability to switch heads among the rest of the FX line of characters.

Looking at the FP Deluxe scaled Headmasters. The Heads are vastly oversized in relation to the bodies their put on.

FP Apeface's headmaster head doesn't look as oversized on his body like the others do. Which might be another hint this is a voyager toy and not a deluxe toy.

Looks like all of the FP Headmasters heads will all be the same scale. no matter what toy scale body they get placed on.

Really dude! Stop. Just stop. Your starting to look like a douche now by attacking him for one comment with the same old speech "You have ruined so many threads by harrassing, fighting and seeding threads by attacking others 20+ times" blah blah blah. Your beginning to do it alot on these threads that Rated X has commented on and its getting really noticable. And old. Real old!

No thanks, Think this toy looks terrible in all modes.

I'll wait for the ToyWorld superior Apeface toy version.

The Two 1987 Horrorcons are toys on my high update wish list. But they need to be done right in order for me to buy them.

Ape mode does look a bit off but with only the G1 toy to compare it to it's that bad at all .I would like to see it hunched over with hands on the floor which it looks like it can do .

Robot mode looks really good definitely another great homage and up date to his G1 toy.

The jet mode looks awesome . These don't look terrible at all .

This is the first of the FP not-Headmasters that I actually like. The bot and beast modes look decent and fairly accurate (unlike any of their previous efforts, save for perhaps their not-Chromedome) and that jet mode is excellent. I may actually pick this one up, assuming TW doesn't announce theirs before this one comes out and TW's doesn't blow it away as their previous ones have so far. Then again, I could always get both and keep this one in jet mode and TW's in bot or beast mode, an idea that's far more appealing with a triplechanger.
