Robot mode looks like the Classics Powermaster Prime I've always wanted, but truck mode looks awkward. Why not just make the armour pieces into another trailer?

Nope. Im passing on this one. X-Overgen Trailerforce wins by a landslide.

It's kinda nice, but not really wow. It's kinda underwhelming to be honest.

This should have come with a trailer to make a larger bot-mode, and the apex armor.

If I hadn't gotten ToyWorld's, I would've been interested.

But I do, so I'm not.

I've got this weird feeling that a trailer is in the works that transforms into Godbomber and the apex armor thus eliminating the odd G1 trailer-behind-a-trailer alt mode.

Interesting....is this for the original Classics Voyager Prime mold, the deluxe (horrible), or Orion Pax? I'm keeping an eye on this, though the alt mode isn't good...

I believe it's for the voyager looking at the thighs/legs and arm kibble .

What is this thing? It looks like just a truck cab with no transformable robot mode. that comes apart into armor pieces for another HasTak or 3rd party Optimus toy to wear.

It looks like less of an upgrade armor set and more like a whole new figure... Wonder if FP did what Maketoys have done with the G2 prime figure.

OOoooohhhhhh, it's a black Scourge or Nemesis prime figure. That's why I didn't see those details. Thanks!

I already have enough add-ons for this mold. I'd like to see the final product, but this isn't really exciting me now. (If it was an improvement on the Deluxe mold, I might have bitten...)

I think the only way I'd get this if it's released in Ginrai colours for the recent Botcon release.

Pointless and terrible. I thought Fansproject was bad enough by making things that look good with shoddy construction ideas, but this takes the piss by being immensely ugly as well. The vehicle mode makes the deluxe prime look like a masterpiece, and the robot mode just looks like a mass of utter confusion that doesn't know what it's trying to be. This whole thing is just so weak in every way possible, I can't imagine what they were sniffing to pull this out of their asses.

That robot pic in this thread. Looks like a black colored 1.0 Voyager Prime toy. That is wearing this FP Truck cab armor to form a super robot mode.

Nope. It's add-on armour for both robot and truck mode. If you look at the rear view render you can see Classic Optimus' knees just behind the cab.
The idea is questionable at best. I'll withhold overall judgement until we see at least a prototype.

Think it's still terrible. Suspose it might be a pinch less terrible if it can transform back and form with the armor still attached in both modes.

Color me cautiously curious... But I have a hard time believing there's a Classics Prime mold inside of that thing, and until I see proof of that, I'll continue to have my doubts. I just don't see how Classics Prime can fit in there!

Don't get me wrong, I see elements of Classics Prime in there, but that just has me worried that they've done what Maketoys did with the Laser Prime mold, and just produced a somewhat remolded knock-off. (So disappointed with Maketoys there, as I feel with their Battle Tanker series that now includes cabs, they crossed a line between third party manufacturer and bootlegger.) If my suspicions are correct, I will be very disappointed in Fansproject.

I hope I'm wrong, and that this is an add-on kit for the Classics Prime mold. In that case, I look forward to seeing this in color, as I think a lot of why this mold might not look quite right is because we're just seeing a miscolored test model. And if this is a traditional add-on kit, and if it does look good in color, and if there is a version of it that color matches with the original 2006 domestic version of the mold (that is a problem with a theoretical add-on kit like this: the mold has been done so many times, and often in slightly different shades of red), I may be interested!

I'm keen to possibly pick up the new version of the Classics Prime mold that comes in an AOE Evoloution 2-Pack, as it looks really good! Never thought I might think of replacing my original Classics Prime in my collection, but this recolor has me considering it. And if this is an add-on kit, and if the final product looks good, it may provide a way to give my original Classics Prime new life.

It's not a remolded KO. You can see the feet in the boots, the shoulders inside the shoulder caps, etc.. The hardest part to see is the chest inside the breastplate, but it's there if you look very closely at the 2/3 angle view of the figure.

They mentioned a trailer was in the works for this, for what that's worth.

My PM Prime itch was more than scratched by Trailerforce. I remember that thread - people were clamouring for a version more like City Commander - a version that didn't have Prime "plug into" his trailer. Where are those guys?

To those thinking it's a remolded KO, it's not, it's armor made to fit on the Classics Voyager mold. You may have problems seeing that since the majority of the kit is cast in black and it's on United Black Optimus Prime

Seriously, this is FP, they don't copy designs.

It's armor that snaps onto the figure and might actually stay during transformation.

I like the look of this, if it comes with a Godbomber trailer then I'm in.

well honestly i thought it was just a add on armor for the Classics Optimus Prime. i saw the A3U Reviews and they had this guy on the table. ... but what is its alt mode. yeah i heard also the armor transforms while hes wearing it. supposed to be a trailer right??? will this armor work on any Classics Optimus Prime or just the one in the photo???
