This looks to be a homage to a Cykill repaint

I think ill pass on this one. I have the original on pre-order. Gobots just don't have the same amount of "repaint power" that the Transformers brand has. With TF repaints, you get some kind of a fiction, even if it's only a bio. A Gobot repaint is pretty much just for looks. I would have to have a huge amount of Gobot homages before I started collecting homages of variants.

Creating a evil doppelganger version when the Character is already evil. I think is Stupid and wasteful.

It looks pretty nice, but it's something that I probably won't get. Maybe in the future when I'm bored.

I'm all over this.
I had the black 'n green Cy-Kill as a kid (as well as regular and the large scale one), so this is a must for me.

That wasn't the point of the repaint. Gobots repaints were purely for cosmetic purposes.
Others that had a repaint:
Leader-1 (dark blue with grey highlights)
Crasher (original was white and blue)
Creepy (all purple version and neon green version)
I'm sure there's plenty more that I'm not aware of...

Eh, they may as well. I don't see how this hurts anyone. Plus, I think these are more plentiful over in China in the regular retail market, so it's not like we're the sole market here.

I'd want to see what the collector community at large thinks of the original Salmoore before buying that figure, let alone a redeco.
That said, it's cool looking. Assuming I get the original down the line, I could see myself splurging on this during a sale or something.

A guy in this link is reporting.
http://forums.tformers.com/talk/index.p ... pic=148199That DX9 was part of UT But branched off into another company. Think that black and green recolor of Salmoore, Wreckgar and Crasher are going to be sold by DX9 not UT
