:-?
Guess we could get a Mod to merge this thread with the one created way back when they first teased the idea...

I wonder if ToyWorld will continue their trend of producing decent large Deluxe/Voyager with these combining Dinobots?
Nice to see some gold chrome on Snarl there too. Not that FansProject should feel threatened, but if TW use gold and silver chrome across all of their Dinobots, I wonder if FP will do the same on their regular Dinobot releases? :-?

Color me interested to see how this turns out.

Waits patiently for TW versions of the Horrorcons apeface and snapdragon.

No. Better yet, hell no. I can live with throttler, but I dont want dinobots that combine. Total fail.

Way too late, Toyworld. Besides, I don't need a three-dimensional version of the Beast.

Has ToyWorld ever done recolors of their figures? I don't recall that that was ever the case. Here, rather than combining G1 dinos (especially since the market is now flooded with Dinobots) I think they might do better with a Dinoking paint job. However, since Dinoking was Victory, a show not as popular here in the states, such a paint scheme might have a tough time selling.

I'll keep an eye on this, but I am pretty sure I am committed elsewhere for my Dinobots...

Not sure why you think they are way too late with their Dinobots. What other recent options are there apart from TF4 Movie versions or a massive Leader scaled version? :-?

Well, there's Planet X's line. They already released Swoop and I've got their Sludge on preorder. There's also Fansproject.

Yea, if they want in this game, we need to see more ASAP.

Even without combining, the Throttlebots are very good, so I can imagine these will be decent too, but both PX and FP are quite good, so these would have to really knock 'em out of the park to get my $$$.

Exactly my point, one figure from PX is all whats available right now. We are all still in a great jumping on place if we want a set of Classics styled Dinobots.
I own PX Swoop but after seeing what FP had to offer, it made me wonder if I had made the right choice. Now with the TW reveal and their previous work, this may be the company I will go with!

So lots of choices for everyone and its not really too late to jump on! ;)

As rpetras said, they need more at this stage. I'm already committed to Planet X's line, and others have gone to Fansproject. Both of those companies for me have proven track records. Toyworld does, too, but they're late out of the starting gate.

Is it just me, or do these look like they might be really small? They look cute.

I was thinking the same thing. :-B

Not that we have much to judge against, but if these are about the size of the throttlebots, that will kill it right there for me.

Yeah... something about those pics do say 'small' to me.

That's been an issue that divides the fandom: should the Dinobots combine?

The arguments for such a thing are typically:
--they're a team of 5, so they could combine if they wanted to
--"The Beast" in canon
--Why not?

The arguments against such a thing are typically:
--They're a bad ass enough team on their own, they don't need to combine
--"The Beast" is not canon
--Why should they?

As you can see, both sides have merit.

I'm not against it been a combiner , i bet it's a nice set when all said and done . i just have no connection to a dinobot gestalt and if these are as small as they appear to be , personally i wouldn't want a small combined mode for me it would have to be Warbotron sized .

Wow, those beast modes are extremely G1, aren't they? At first when I saw the pic of their not-Sludge I thought it was the G1 figure until I looked a bit more closely. I'm cautiously interested. I'm all in for all of Planet X's not-Dinobots, I'm probably out on FP's and so far I'm at a big fat maybe for these guys. I love TW's stuff, but I really need to see more before I decide.

While I have no plans to buy this. My interest is piqued enough to see how this turns out in all modes.

Since I plan on buying already huge Ten inch tall FT MP Dinobots. Therefore Don't think it's needed to buy a Eleven to 14 inch 3rd party MP Dinobot gestalt at over $350+

Perhaps if Hasbro creates a Dinobots combiner in 2015-2017 at those much lower $75 USA retail prices. Then I'd be interested since i'm not paying a insane high price.

Sorry, youve lost me, again? Youre committing yourself to pay over a thousand dollars for the FansToys versions but suggest $350+ is too much for all 5 of the ToyWorld Dinobots? Is it a 'size' thing? How tall are you?
:HEADHURTS:
I expect we will see some bot mode shots shortly and a pre-order after that.
I would also hope ToyWorlds pricing to be less than FansProject! ;)
