MP 10 Optimus Prime leg replacements?

So on AC toys someone posted pictures of what might be just a one off custom job or a prototype for an upcoming product. Replacement legs for the MP 10 Optimus Prime mold. These get rid of the obvious wheel kibble for a much more show accurate bot mode look.

Here's the original thread which also shows the same part on a Nemesis Prime.
What do you guys think? Personally I like it, this along with the hands not being super articulated has been my only real complaint about MP 10 and I'm exited that someone seems to be working on it.

Looks more like snap on leg covers that gets put over the HasTak lower leg. not a lower legs replacement parts kit.
Don't need my Transformers toy to hide their vehicle mode kibble in robot mode and look like 1989 ActionMasters. So this is a easy pass.
Trying to figure out if that lower legs armor transforms into anything else when not worn on the robot mode. Just think it would be lazy and lame not to give it something else to do.

I don't get it... So it gets rid of the wheel kibble, by getting rid of the wheels? Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? After all, that makes him non-transformable. So why have a transforming Masterpiece toy? If you care enough about how his robot mode looks to kill his ability to become a truck, why not just buy a nice, detailed, articulated, non-transforming figure? There's a few such things out there.

If this is a replacement part that allows you to tuck away the wheels into the leg, then, yay. I may be interested.
If it is a leg cover, then this is not at all for me.
My biggest issue with the legs isn't in bot mode, but rather, how damn think they are in truck mode. I think MP-01 nailed that aspect much, much better.
So, waiting for more info.

This is not a cover, this is a replacement. Look at it, the leg is slimmer and not thicker, you can also see the knee joint shimmer through.
The wheels are tucked inside of the leg, just look at all the hinges and cracks in that leg part.

The wheels have never been obtrusive enough to be bothersome, and quite frankly the less kibble a bot has to define their shape the less I like them.

Pretty much this ^
I love MP-10. He's perfect. The transformation of the wheels in the legs with those side panels that flip out to conceal them on the sides is one of the niftiest little details that Takara threw in there (something typical of the current MP line) and I actually think his profile not only looks perfect from the front, but also looks really nifty from the rear when you see those tires 'embedded' in his robot mode legs. It looks cool, it looks like the 'impossible' parts shifting that happened in the G1 cartoon all the time (not unlike his torso transformation) and I'm more than happy with it just the way it is.
I don't need this. There are plenty of figures out there that could use add-ons/improvements, but MP-10 definitely isn't one of them. After all, he IS Optimus Prime

Think that is most definately a cover that goes over the lower blue leg. Can see the white cover with the blue lower leg underneath peeking out from all angles in some of those pics angles.

That's the blue of the knee part, this is a new part that replaces the lower leg and not a cover. The original has a cover to "hide" the wheels, this aims to eliminate the cover and the wheels by hiding the wheels in the leg itself.
Just compare it to the original blue leg, the white leg is thinner than the blue one.
