Thanks for the pics.

This is the 3rd party Blaster I'm seeking. As I need one that can hold G-1 cassettes-bots and is the same big scale as HasTak MP Soundwave. Like the sculpt in all modes.

In one way this makes sense. I mean, they've made all those "MP" cassettes and all. But in another, more practical, way - isn't Blaster one of the most likely candidates for a legit MP treatment?

But I guess you can say the same for Megatron and Galvatron.

Sucks that it's MP scale. I would like this a lot better than the UT version if it were voyager.

Tranisstor is due out at the end of August and will fit all the KFC cassettes and will apparently scale with MP Soundwave .

Think it's cool that their are Three, 3rd party companies creating Three different scaled Blaster toys.

Having the options of UT-Voyager Blaster, Mega Steel-Ultra Blaster and KFC MP Blaster. means fans everywhere can select their preferred toy scale.

Don't see any of this as a negative, It's a big positive in my book.

I think Takara will make this one eventually.

That's actually a very interesting point. Very cool. :D

Same. Not that I buy 3rd Party MPs anyway (I firmly do not).

I think you're right, which is probably why we haven't heard anything from FansToys about their MP version (you know, because they scrapped their MP Soundwave when Takara announced theirs a few years back).

I'm not really sure what to think about Transistor. He looks alright, but I do have a nitpick about the way the shoulders are open on the outsides to allow for his arms to move up. Would have looked cleaner has the inner portion of the shoulders were open and you would move the shoulders with the arms.

And if KFC were to do a rebranding, why not do so BEFORE releasing this figure...?

I think KFC will do fine making this Blaster, but should not put it in a MP category. MP's are the best of the best for the most part. If you do not put your toys on such a high level to begin with , you want look as bad when it is not up to par.
Still, hope all works out on this figure for both customer & KFC.

It will be a year or more before Takara makes one, but you bet they will make a MP Blaster w/troops , Steeljaw, Eject,Rewind, and Ramhorn for sure. MP Soundwave needs his Nemesis.

You forget Junkion Blacksmith, BTS, FansToys, Justitoys (who made 2) and the smaller one KFC are making. That's 9,different 3P Blasters!

FansToys said they will make Blaster after the Dinobots.

Great, Maybe FanToys will do some updated cassettes we don't have if they're doing a Blaster.

Can't wait to buy this and put it on a shelf next to HasTak MP Soundwave.

Think KFC hit another home run for their latest big scale toy. Hoping KFC keeps the big scaled TF toys coming. Love to see a leader scale KFC Rodimus Prime and KFC Leader Scale Galvatron.

OK, What the heck ????
Why did they (Change the waist) on the above figure from older pictures when it was PERFECT!!! ????????????????????
A step back for sure. Maybe to change the G1 look some, as it was too close or something ?

If not, KTC/KFC needs to step it back one.

It's not matching the artwork above with the yellow tape door already, and with this waist change will make it not be accurate also.
Everything was looking PERFECT, then they add a bright silver paint to the legs and waist. ??? This is killing me, LOL !

Looks accurate to me. Guess they're going for the cartoon accurate look?

No, if you look at that picture, the top sides of the legs are silver, not crotch area. I guess I should have said crotch and not so much waist area.

KFC loves doing repaints and retools, So their is bound to be different color variations and retools to please more buyers of this.

True, I guess both ways look fine. I will be glad to get this guy, as I get all 3rd party or Hasbro/Takara Blaster's & Soundwave's that will hold a G1 cassette tape.

Wonder why it was said to come out at the end of last month, but just now seeing concept art ?

Thanks for the link. Clicked on it, This toy is great.

Not entirely sure, But it looks like this toy can hold Two 1980's Cassettes bots in it's chest cavity.

Liked the first head sculpt with the pointy chin. Think the revised head looks okay but it needs more detail. Hoping KFC includes a few head sculpts with this toy

This looks to be a sample of the toy without the paint. Yes, I read it can hold 3 Tapes like MP Soundwave. Man, they just might have them ready by the end of the month ! Bought!
