Kinda like the black shins. Hasbro version w the dark grey face and red shins was off putting. Maybe for like 50 bucks shipped I would consider this, but prolly not.

"K" said that his original came with a busted shoulder joint or something to that effect. If the original had such QC issues what more this KO.

Edit:

Either K or the guy from Singapore with the chibi Galvatron avatar, complained that his MP Rodimus shoulder joint broke after being stared funny.

I own the Hasbro version, got it cheap in a sale, and still thought I was ripped off. The figure is fragile as heck, has crappy paint, and just breaks itself. The only thing good about it was the awesome Matrix the Hasbro version came with, and that's not included in this one.

This is going to cost more than the original and it's going to be of lower quality, so anyone who buys this will effectively spend all their money on a heap of plastic. So to anyone who does

Might be interested in buying this if it's being sold at those cheap KO MP Cars, KO Binaltech and Movie Human Alliance cars prices.

Won't be interested in paying those insanely high KO Wufong MP Grimlock, KO MP-10 prices. Where the KO price cost more that Hasbro's USA retail store prices for TF MP's.

Thought the Hasbro USA MP-09 colored toy was terrible. Thankfully Takara saved the day and released this toy in the better color scheme with the trailer.

Actually surprised Hasbro USA hasn't yet re-released MP-09 At TRU. with the Trailer and better colors in those new styled MP TF boxes.

£25ish and I'd maybe bite, just to have HotRod in proper colours in alt mode.

Why would they? The left the trailer out of their original release, tweaked the figure to improve on Takara's original version and included extra exclusive accessories. But still the figure turned out to be **** and even flopped at retail.

If we ever see another MP Hot Rod /Rodimus Prime, it's going to be a new mold.

that effect. If the original had such QC issues what more this KO.

Not just them, mine broke its shoulders just from being displayed, the second shoulder even woke me at night when the spring exploded the plastic. It's a common complaint with the figure.

Hasbro MP Rodimus did not flop at TRU, It was a quick sell out. It was very hard to find in TRU stores and on the TRU.com site. Online fans reports said the toy never warmed shelves for more than a week.

Never said MP-09 was a great toy.

My ideal MP Rodimus Prime toy is a leader scaled version based off that Titanium 6 inch Rodimus Prime.

If KFC Does a MP Rodimus Prime in the vein of KFC Citizen Stacks and it's Leader scale, I'd buy it.

Agree that MP Rodimus Prime is a fragile toy.

If Hasbro USA ever decided to re-release MP Rodimus Prime with a trailer and in those Takara colors at TRU, Think it would be a quick sell out.

If the price was right I'd be interested in buying this just to have spare parts for my regular Rodimus.

If they scale him down and release him just as HotRod I might bite.

Over at TFW they found a Ebay auction for this. The ebay seller wants $191.99 for each figure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transformers-Ta ... 418604add8
Plus each figure has broken parts, factory defects, discolorations and some are missing stuff.

Was willing to pay as high as $50 to $60. As this was labeled a KO. Think it's pointless paying more than HasTak prices for a KO.

It's even more pointless to spent anything on a KO of a known fragile toy until hands-on reviews are out. If you've got the cash, might as well spend them on the TakaraTomy original and be mindful of the fragile area. ;)

Hasbro Rodimus flopped big time here in the UK. Tons of stock and no one buying, I remember buying and 2nd one for £25. He was £60 originally here.

Always watch videos first. Rarely do I buy first shipments releases. Most of my TF buying is months after release.

I'd have wanted to buy the Tomy version....but these stories kept me from doing so.
