That bird mode looks dreadful. The robot mode is OK, but...eh, TFC's version beats it.

Think Talon, Leo Dux and Tigris are great sculpts. Kinda disappointed in the sculpts for Bovis and Fortis.

Maybe the newer replacement heads for Bovis and Fortis will do wonders for those sculpts.

Hoping at some point MMC or another 3rd party creates a better looking head sculpt for Feral Rex.

I don't mind this Divebomb, it captures the original toy's essent better than some of the others IMO. Still, he'll be in arm mode for most of his life, so I'm not going to complain.

Kind of agree with that. The best for me would be Talon and Leo Dux, while Bovis, Fortis and Tigris not really my cup of tea. Have to wait for Tigris to be in my hand though before I pass my final judgement

I guess it's not easy to have a perfect design for bird alt mode

Energon Divebomb would disagree.

In all seriousness, Talon looks pretty good as an arm and his robot mode looks good (daft bird hat aside). His wings look neato, but his bird mode is a complete mess. Way, way too blocky and kinda lazy looking. It just doesn't work for me, man.

I do hope one of the reviewers who are covering Feral Rex (preferably Vangelus or Peagh) also cover Ares so we can get a decent comparison. I'd prefer Vangelus honestly, as his reviews seem a little more in-depth, and are also very concise and well put together.

my main version of Predaking is Ares so if you don't mind waiting, will have that comparison once Phobos is release

Well, the only way I'll know for sure if Divebmomb here's got good modes or not is when/maybe if I get him in my hands.

By the by, nice pictures and review.
