Think this looks great so far. Suppose the positive it that UT sells stuff for cheap and often goes on clearance on sites.
Guessing if HasTak makes a Combiners wars Predaking. That Abonimus and Piranaking stands a great chance of getting made. Since HasTak will probably mix and match molds from all the teams to keep production budgets cost down.

Well, I was wondering when they'd get around to him, Monstructor and Piranacon.

The aesthetic is awesome, but the scale sucks. I would rather have him scale with MT Quantron instead of being all big for nothing. I also hope he is scramble city. Im really not digging that TF prime configuration where cutthroat is an arm and blot is a foot. That kills the G1 aesthetic for me. Despite the awesomeness, I would welcome other options for abominus.

$104 for Blot seems a bit high. Was hoping UT would sell each Terrorcon for $69 like they did with the Predacons.
Here's hoping HasTak creates a Combiners Wars Abonimus for a fraction of the price.

It's weird that they're scaling him against MMC's Predaking instead of their own take. Didn't MMC tease the terrorcons as coming up next? Or am I just imagining things?
I had a pretty bad time with War Lord. And just by looking at those hips it looks as if this is the same amount of partsforming.

I'm also taking the wait and see approach, mostly because it is UT, and traditionally I have not been the biggest fan of their stuff.
However, I think it looks really good, so I am very tempted.
I like the look of the one completed figure.
I like the overall look of the combiner.
I like the size, as I prefer TFC/MMC size for my combiners.
I LOVE that they showed the completed combiner along with the reveal of the first figure. That was really smart!!
I don't like Rippersnapper as an arm, but that alone isn't quite a deal breaker for me.
With all the figure repeats from the 3Ps lately, I'm going to wait, but this appears to be a really great option.

I just went and measured my uranus and herc who both stand roughly 13 inches from head to toe (not counting shoulder height) This this is 15 inches tall and it appears that the shoulders reach the same height as the head. So that would place this guy in the warbotron catagory..awesome but just too big. The only reason Im in the Feral Rex camp is because he is the same height as Herc and Uranus from head to toe in pictures. But 13 inches is where I max out. Sorry UT. I dont need an MP scale combiner.

I don't have them in front of me to measure, but Uranos stands a little taller than Herc, by about an inch or more.
37cm is closer to 14 1/2 inches, not quite 15, so this should stand eye to eye with Uranos.

that, and he's too big. for me anyways.
whats sll the talk about UT being cheaper? isnt their predaking cheap (
now) because its the worst of three choices and not selling? pretty sure the UT predacons retailed for the same 90ish bucks per figure that all the other companies did too.

The size of Abominus is perfect for my collection

As much as i may like FP or MT combiners they are too small in combined and individual mode , i won't be buying any of there gestalts again. .
This is a major step up from UT Predaking this looks more like a Warbotron design when looking at blots robot mode and i love it .
I couldn't be more happy today seeing this both modes look excellent

.
Even though i know some competition won't be far behind , if this is out by october i'm jumping on it .
Let the Abominus wars begin !!

I think I'm going to go with the new Aligned-style lore and put this beast with my Predacon faction. I don't mind his scale as he'll be primarily a stand-alone.
I'm curious to see how this progresses.

I could live with him being too big for my liking, if he wasn't too expensive also. $110-120 for a limb means nearly $600 (or more!) for the whole lot. Looks pretty nice but they can get right to f with that pricing. I'm pushing the budget a bit for Quantron because he looks 137% Amazing. This is merely very good.

Definitely surprised by this announcement and the increase in height of their characters. Would like to see some positive in-hand reviews and a price decrease before I consider picking up these guys. Simply put, this Fall is very competitive in getting my wallet's attention.
